Being a Bengali Brahmin, and belonging to a family where I have "only" seen my maa doing pujas at home, I have never seen my father bowing before any deity, but he has always provided my maa with all the requirements for the pujas.
I was never confused. No one on Earth can dare to convert me. I have been working in a Christian missionary school for more than 2 decades, nothing and nobody can change my faith. I may not have all the answers about my religion but that does not make me a prey to these predators. On the contrary my husband and I have taught the Hindu rituals to our kids. My son, an engineer who is 26 years old, doesn't miss a day without doing his meditation and chanting of the beej mantra of Krishna, despite being awfully busy with his job. So is my daughter. I took my teenager daughter for this movie so that she realises the dark reality of these predators and never makes any such mistake in her life.

What is heaven or hell? many doubts like these.... Imagine a situation.. A building is burning and there are 10 kids trapped inside.. The father of 2 of those kids comes along to save them.. If he has the power and time and strength to save all, is it not basic human responsibility to save all the 10? What will we call that man if he saves only his kids and leaves the others, cause they are not his kids??? Now!!. Apply the same concept to God and we can analyse the true nature of those religions. But in Hinduism, only our deeds decide who goes to hell. It doesn’t depend on who believes what. Only they purity of heart and actions matter.

I am a Muslim woman. I know this comment is gonna trigger many people here but i couldn't stop myself from commenting. Her story is really heartbreaking. What is this obsession of converting people. These so called extremists muslim think they've been appointed for the conversation. In reality they should focus on their own Amaal. The islam i follow doesn't make me hate any non Muslim. Ive spent my whole childhood with Hindus, painted my face in holi and lit sooo many diyas on our terrace at Diwali. My friends used to come home early morning (that was annoying too) just because they didn't want to miss sheer on eid. After my mum's death my mum's best friend (who's a hidnu btw) was the only one i used to talk. I hate extremists whether its hindus or muslims. I wish i could go back in time where things were not so bad or maybe am in illusion. Things were always bad but touchwood my social circles was soo pure. Please teach your kids not to hate on anyone but at the same time educate them about your roots too so that they can enjoy the company of various cultural group not worrying about getting influenced. Ringing the gaint bell in hanuman mandir and then racing for prasad never affected my faith on Allah.But it gave me some life long friends who were always there in my hardships. I am not sure if am a good muslim or not but am happy in my life and thats what matters the most.

Why don't they tell people that Qur'an says your neighbours are the closest people you have and you should respect them at any cost. Those time were different, people used to marry multiple times even Hindu rulers did that. But you can't do that anymore. You can't apply hundred years old rules in modern times.These people who are trying to convert others should focus on their own relationship with God. What if God doesn't like them harrassing fellow humans and make them rot in hell.And NO, Muslims who are gonna say that I am not on right path. DUDE I am a proud INDIAN MUSLIM and this is my identity. Nothing's gonna convert me to any other religion as it's my religion only who taught me respect other religion and treating humans as equal.

I ve been a practicing Hindu but was somehow always yearning for a better connection with d Almighty and so reading n exploring different sects n religions but found peace in Islam. Now m a practicing Muslim.
I have been reading Holy Quran with meaning always. But i never found anything that asks to disrespect parents as is being claimed in this video. Maybe she wasn't competent enough to understand. Even some verses when not read in context(continuation) can be misguiding. I feel these r ones used by manipulators.
In fact, now I feel m a better person since I learnt d importance of fulfilling responsibilities towards parents, family, relatives, neighbours and the country from d Holy Quran n my husband.
Earlier I sometimes used to be harsh with my parents(not intentionally but out of concern) but my husband made me read what d Quran says abt disrespecting parents. I slowly worked on my behavior. Within months of my practice my mother noticed d difference & praised my husband for it.

I'll give you my own example, we were looking for a rental apartment in Noida and I was sure that we'll get something soon coz budget wasn't an issue but to my surprise it's been two months and we haven't got any apartment just because people are not willing to rent it out to a Muslim family. When a broker told me this for the first time I was shocked. I couldn't believe it, I told it to my friend and she said maybe he's lying. But then in next few weeks we realised it's a harsh reality. In my hometown we rented our flat to q Hindu family and tau ji used to play bhajans in the morning. Sometimes the tunes were so catchy that I used to keep humming it in school. We were like a family and my mother never thought before renting out a flat to a Hindu family. But nowadays it becomes common I guess to not rent your property to our religions. And I understand their concern to an extent to be honest so not blaming them. My anger is on my community only. Just because they are acting like maniacs it's getting difficult for the rest of us. I hate it when I see Hindu or Muslim extremists spitting shit about each other. Its disgusting, my husband has even suggested to move out as he can take a transfer to his London office. But I don't want to raise my baby in a completely strange place. I want him to play Holi after school and get excited for firecrackers in Diwali. Invite his friends on Eid and see the excitement on his friends face when I give them eidi. I guess it's kinda impossible now and it's affecting my mental health. Whenever I see news or social media I just feel this weird anxiety what's gonna happen next. I wish things go back to normal.

It’s really an eye opener and can tell the same to our kids who gets influenced outside and doesn’t listen to their Parents and at the later point of time they regret but by then it is too late and cannot come back. Very few girls are lucky enough to find their closed one back.I have seen this manipulation talks and was able to save one of them and told the reality what will happen to you after you fall in this trap. Mostly the target will be the girls who are shy soft spoken and confused. I personally feel in whichever religion are we, we shouldn’t harm anyone or do bad deeds. Because your bad karma will definitely come back to you without any mercy.
