      Rustem was the luckiest guy in this show. During 10 years he went from taking care of horses to being grand vizier without unlike Ibrahim skipping any position. Even after Lütfi Suleiman pasha was grand vizier and Mehmed pasha was his "heir" according to the customs but than Suleiman pasha and Mehmed pasha got into fight and they were send into exile making Rüstem pretty much the only vizier left to be named grand vizier.

Does being born a royal but a female takes away their royalty or something? I think since they're deprived from ascending the throne they should be given proper rights & oppurtunities because the throne was THEIR right, but unfortunately, unlike other empires, the Ottoman Empire had different rules. Since they're not giving the Princesses the throne, they should give them outmost respect & rights. And about the Hatice-Ibrahim one, Hatice did the right thing putting Ibrahim in his place, otherwise he would have died earlier from his ego, which he did eventually.

    @ebayrose Před 4 měsíci

    Almost every born Sultana gets a divorce.... Hatice almost got there and was the only one with good reason to, though she got cheated on for the same reason the other Sultanas marriages broke down. All of them step on their husbands' prides and refuse to respect them and demand respect and tell their husbands "you serve my family", and "you'd be nothing without me". All of them got to a position to be considered worth a Sultata's hand first and while it did help their political careers it also harms and ultimately destroys most of them to marry a Sultana.
    Though Shah's husband definitely crossed a line here and Shah telling him off was warrated for sure. Don't get why he thought he'd get away with these things no trial and punishments the Sultan would never condone. I agree with those who say Shah incited him to attack her on purpose so her brother wouldn't see her at all responsible for her husband's crimes.
