To be fair as an adhd person being interrupted over and over is like pushing an instant anger button it’s already hard to think so stopping that thought process before it’s said is very overwhelming very quickly…adhd is weird because in certain moods you would care less about being held at gunpoint than not being able to talk …but we’ll also interrupt you to get that thought out as fast as possible so it’s a very viscous cycle

(Discussion with my dad, where he basically berated me for something I didn't do. Then when I want to explain why it COULDNT have been me. He interrupted and said "we're not discussing this" and walked off"
Honestly when you go most of your life with people just naturally doing that to you, it's a whole different kettle of fish than just joking or pretending 😂🙈 but I'd probably have either a similar reaction or just "imma just stop trying" 😂
