If you're going to do California Highway 1, you MUST start in Fort Bragg!! In my opinion....unless you don't like driving next to cliffs. I haven't been there since 1993, but it still looks mostly the same. We were only there a day, but it was fun to visit!! Looking forward to your next video!

Truly one of the most epic scenic drives ever! Glass Beach was so amazing years ago. The smoother the edges, the longer it's likely been tossed around in the waves there. The tide pools were always awesome too with so many tiny creatures. Brought back fond memories while watching 🤗

Hello Christine, I live here and was so happy to see your video. I get to walk on the Coastal Trail every day.. weather permitting. Thank you for not taking the Seaglass and pointing out the glass needs to stay on our beaches..It is frustrating seeing people take it . This is an amazing place to call home with a wonderful community..I love living amongst the redwoods and enjoying our Pacific Ocean. You forgot to drink our local Thanksgiving coffee and check out the Coast Cinemas.. Loved seeing this area and Glass Beach. Reminds me of the rounded glass pieces I used to pick up on the beaches at Lexington, MI, thanks for reminding me, I still can hear the fog horns there on the rainy days, and you’re right, it’s an absolutely wonderful place to be, glass beach, nothing else like it. The California Coast is my all time favorite place for exploring.
HWY 1, Santa Cruz, Stinson Beach, Fort Bragg etc. The weather, views, sounds of waves crashing… nothing beats it.Plenty of free overnight parking places too.

Wow, I love the idea that no matter how awful people are, the Earth will eventually clean up after them. Whether we are here as a species when it does is a whole different story, though. The glass beach was so interesting and cool.

Well, you can splurge once in a while on a great meal, you're staying in your car. Crab omelet, Chase says, 'what was that, are there any seconds ?!' Glass beach looks like a location for prime abalone diving. Next time, try the Abalone for dinner. And it seems like you can park your car overnight just about anywhere, its stealth looking 'plain'....take care and travel on !!

At first I thought you meant Fort Bragg NC & I said to myself I don't remember any beach there & then I realized you meant CA. US 1 in CA is one on the most beautiful roads to travel in the world.

I worked at Eggheads when i was 17 and i was the first person to paint the yellow brick road in the back to go to the bathrooms😊😊 and they had a great salsa and chips with there huge burger's i miss my old boss i heard she died a few years back😢

Your enthusiasm always entertains me. You should get a job aboard a ship so you really see the ocean. The glass pollution then was quite benign compared to all the toxic plastic in the oceans now.

We drove from LA to Monterey on HWY 1 a few weeks ago and had to stop every few miles to take pics of the view. I would move out there but the $6 gas is a turn off lol
I think that is the most scenic drive in the US. Please drive through NC sometimes so I can take you out for dinner.

If you would take just study to be an echo tech for 1-2 years you could take "travel" assignments which typically last 13 weeks and pay a rate of around $150,000/yr.
I currently do a very similar job as a full time employee for about 100k, but I've considered the travel/van life as a way to gain freedom and free time. You might find it's a much more efficient use of your time/skills.
If you don't like the idea of being an echo tech there are tons of other professional healthcare jobs that pay a premium for travel workers.

the glass beach in vladivostok in the opposite side of the ocean is much better than this one. more polished glass. but it disappears into tourist`s pockets
you can retire in phillipines or costa rica if you somehow save $100k or $50k you may wanna do some research

almost done watching, but yea I wanna just say sure would be sweet if you were vegan. it's important that highly positive and entertaining/attractive people like you go vegan and join the cause. it's not right to continue to not be vegan, so we vegans all hope you'll join us and set a good example, so as to lessen chaos/wickedness/and evil on my planet. so please, look into the worth of how we don't need animal products to survive or thrive; as even a medium old dog can learn new tricks! ;). also, I loved collecting those smoothed glass pieces on ghe shore of port huron, MI, where I grew up in the summers and used to live. odd that there's a rule not to take any there, I say take it....there's way go much! it's supposed to be special when you find one, and sharp ones sbould be cast back to sea. back to the video; please be vegan Christine, your dog Chase would admire your decision upon learning how very similar he was to pigs/cows/chickens, etc.
