Just to let everyone know. On the Mixstream Pro Go. The EQ section does have full kill. In the settings, you have the option to set it to full kill or not.
This device had me interested especially with battery and speakers, but.....a few negative things have held me back. Glad you made this video to share opinions. Great Engine DJ software same as DENON Media Player Series. I really don't the placement of the left side pitch fader because easy to bump. The pitch fader should have an option to change percentages like most other devices...but could be longer. Hold Shift and Press +/- Pitch bend buttons.

Now Serato has no choice but to enter the hardware game.I can already envision 2K priced hardware device bundled with a free version of Serato Studio.😂
@@AveMcree Maybe in the future. Honestly, I'm very happy with the pro. Anywhere I wanna dj I'm gonna want some powered speakers too. I can def see the conveinience of mixing and practicing sets any where you want tho.
This is cool, but ill temper my GAS. i just did a 70th birthday party on my steamdeck and my old ddj 400. Pretty portable, and i can use rekordbox, serato, or mixxx
I wish they had either made the speakers smaller and pitch faders longer, or eliminated the speakers all together and gone with 8 pads and longer pitch faders. Still a cool unit though.
Yeah, that thing is pretty dope dude stand alone to I did not know that they made a standalone unit like that. I have the predecessor I’ll call it I guess which uses Serrano and it’s bad ass. I think that things are great.
Some good ideas, but goddamn those tiny pitch faders - I have my faders set to +/- 50% in Serato and they would be unusable on size alone, let alone any glitchines in their behavior
Looks like Denon DJ had a lot to do with this device, not really anything to do with Akai, Denon are a part of the same group, it's like the Prime 2 just with Numark branding.
I have the original, it's great but the software to prepare an SD card that they call engine DJ is so slow it literally erases and refill the entire SD card everytime. It's my only complaint cause I use an SD card so I can have all my files with me. My last gripe is the different sources can't be mixed together

@@AveMcreeI do know what they did add since the 3.0 update is that you can add your PC as a wireless source, first you have to open Engine DJ and from Mixstream switch to PC as a source and back on the PC you initialize the Mixstream and it's added until you stop on either end. That's right the entire library over wifi at your fingertips

I had the Pro Plus and returned it for the Pro Go. Its slightly glitchy, but still an awesome device.

To get full kill turn on EQ isolation in the settings

Yes they can be mixed together. I do it on the Prime go.
