Here are some fun subnautica facts for everyone re-watching for nostalgia week:
-Bleeders are scavengers. They are attracted to dead corpses in the game, so if you need to get them away from a location, drop a dead peeper or kill one.
-Most creatures that live in the abyssal biomes are attracted to light. Turn off your lights in your submarines, and their aggro drops considerably. This can also be used to bait creatures. Throw a flare at a crabsquid or boneshark and watch them chase it.
-Crabsquids only use their EMP attack on light sources.
-Warpers get more aggressive the more the infection progresses in you. It starts with them just attacking more frequently, but it can eventually lead to them gaining new attacks like teleporting hostile predators onto you.
- Everyone knows if you can hear a reaper they can see you, but did u know they are very attracted to loud noises? A player swimming in the ocean is far less likely to get attention than a seamoth or cyclops.

The seamoth, according to the wiki, is the reaper's favorite noise, and it attracts it considerably more often than a cyclops using silent rigging. The seaglide and/or merely the player won't attract unless you're within range.

I've lost count of how many times I've come back to this series. Over the past four years this let's play has kept me sane. These videos and this game bring me so much comfort and I cannot express how grateful I am for that. Anytime I've felt a lack of steadiness in my life I come back here, even just watching one of the bonus episodes of gameplay can turn my day around.
This will almost definitely get lost in the comments, but I want to say thank you Sean. When I started watching this series I was in my second year of high-school and now I am only a few months away from graduating. I cannot put in words how much this series has been a crutch in hard times.

For example I'm writing this comment on a Saturday, Octobter 29th, 2022 at 5:23pm EST time in New York under the username "Lobster" while my PFP is a picture of the blue lobster jumpscare. My comment may go under the radar, and let's be honest. It probably will. We feel like the switch came out in 2019 when in reality it was so much longer than that, because in the next 4-5 years the switch will be 10 years old and most of Gen z will no longer be "kids"
We'll look back and say "I miss the old CZcams" but just as Jack said on his Anthony interview, I miss our childhood. Because a lot of us don't have a childhood, but we did have the internet.
Time goes so much faster than we think, and to be honest with you? I thought this series was made in 2020. All of our memories, just, shattered over the years, we forget our childhood, we forget names, faces, stuff like that. And us being on the internet doesn't help.

As a person who suffers terribly with Thalassophobia, it's actually insane to me how terrifying everything is, but this starting episode encouraged me to buy the game for myself, and I don't regret it. Hell, I've been face to face with the mountains, the ridge of the crater and eye to eye with the dunes and I loved it. It was terrifying. But for the first time in ages I was enjoying what I was supposed to be scared of. Now, I know you probably aren't looking at this comment on a video from four years ago, but I wanted to say thank you. I'd never have heard of this game if it weren't for this channel, so it means a lot to me, the common viewer, and I wish you a good year.

There were 85 engineers and 9 passengers as well as 29 crew members
If I remember correctly there were around 250 spots for people on board so I'm assuming that's how many were on the ship
