23:10-24:25 gives me chills. Nixon was far ahead of his time on addressing privacy concerns with emerging technology. It's clear he envisioned the dangers of losing privacy rights with respect to personal data and use of our personal data by growth of technology systems (i.e. the internet, google, facebook, amazon, etc.)

True, but that isn't the point. The point is that the war on drugs reinforced the taboo against psychoactive substances. Nixon even called all forms of drug abuse "public enemy #1", Also, the war on drugs is shown to have targeted minorities, and has been demonstrated to have had a terrible effect on not only American society, but societies around the world.
What do you mean "We'll never know"? We do know. It's been happening since Nixon and it's been awful the entire time. The war on drugs simply does not work.

This guy was a politician in all the wrong terms. Just think what direction history and his political legacy would have taken if he had admitted to doing wrong regarding the Watergate break in, rather than lying and scheming to cover the break in up. Then again, his political history up to that point had been one of so much criminal behavior, it would have been difficult to imagine him as an honorable politician even if the Watergate break in had not destroyed his political career. Saying all this, Richard Nixon did accomplish some significant things as President. Nonetheless, nothing good he did outweighed the fact that his character was severely flawed.

I'm watching the former Speaker of The House Carle Albert and contrasting his behavior with that of our present Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi. Speaker Albert had no fondness for Richard Nixon, but he remained respectful of the Constitutional process and conducted himself with dignity. Not so with our present House Speaker Pelosi as former PoTUS Donald Trump addressed the nation during his SoTU addresses. Let me be clear: I loathe Trump and the RepubliKKKlans on Capitol Hill; but I respect the Constitutional process and the Constitutional exercise of any and every President's State of The Union Address.
