I can totally relate to your Cub!
My Pop picked up a 57 way back in 1968. I used to cut the grass on about 3 acres, and plow snow in the winter.
Brings back lots of memories. We still have the old girl on the property, but hasn't run in years. I really must show her some love real soon.
    Thanks for the video!

Make sure your in-line filter placement is not near the hot exhaust, Plastic ones can melt and leaks at the connections can happen.

when you take it off to clean it there is some different ways I know of a lot of people using metal BBs and I've seen them even hook them up to a tractor tire or a truck and jack it up and strap the tank and put it in drive so they sat there and spin around and around and around and you wouldn't believe how clean they get I watched a video where they got an 806 Farmall diesel out of the woods and the tank was just full of rust and that's how they cleaned it they washed it out put it back on the tractor and the tractor ran fine

An old man told me years ago when a vehicle or tractor is in storage to remove the fuel cap and make it so rain water cant get in and it keeps the tank from condensating and it wont rust. At the time i thought it was bs but over the years i have got things that the fuel cap had been off of and sat for years and the tanks were dry and clean so maybe he was right. The fuel evaporates over time so there was no varnish in the tank.

Depending on how long they were using the land and if the city wasn’t maintaining it they might have a case of adverse possession under state law. All states have laws regarding taking ownership of property by using it (knowing or not knowing that you don’t have legal ownership) for a certain amount of time without the proper owner disputing it causing the title to transfer.

Then shake all the nuts and dust out...flush it with some solvent or diesel fuel..let it dry or just mount it and fill it and get to work... a small trace diesel fuel wont hurt a gas engine...if anything it'll help the jets and rings.

Sorry to tell you but if the hillside hitler has been using that land for over 35 years they can claim squatters rights and clam it as their own. In pennsylvania people can still do that.

They stopped using it in 1991.. now they just post it like it's their own.. and good luck claiming squatter's rights off the government

It happens , a church did it to my father after my grandfather was nice enough to let a church use part of our land as a parking lot when my grandfather died the church claimed squatters rights and took 1 acre even though they never used more than a quarter of an acre.
