@@oliviab4079 I think the main reason they haven't gone back is to keep the crew safe. This show has a much bigger crew and studio than UNHhhh does so it's harder to go back in person this soon.

Ok, so in high school I was part of the anime club, and one time there was a big fight because Nicky Bell- super Naruto queen who had all the anime boys lusting after her- broke up with her very maladjusted Columbine type boyfriend for another kid in the anime club, and the club was meeting outside that day and near the end of the meeting the dumped kid started hitting Nicky and trying to choke her so the rest of the Naruto superfans started fighting him and I SWEAR TO CHRIST they were doing the hand jitsu's and shit, and then my mom pulled up and when I got in she was all "oh neat your friends are acting out the show" and I did not have the mental strength to tell her this was a Serious Anime Fight

Well karate is pretty gay, I’ve trained for like 8 years.
There are surprisingly many of us in the lgbtq community doing it. Like we are way over represented.
Might be a sad reflection of the threat of violence and a need to learn self defence in the community....
The scary people who just want to learn to hurt people tend to go to Thai boxing, boxing and be obsessed with MMA.
And you know karate, is a bit more non-confrontational, and more obsessed with perfection of technique than violence.
Karate is a lot like ballet, like surprisingly a lot like ballet culture wise. And dancing in general. My siblings competed in jazz and disco solo dance, and I in karate, it was surprisingly similar to each other. But karate was a little more chill and less ‘dance mom’ types.
And karate can pretty fabulous at times.
