    some good examples in this presentation. some pics with flash & some with continuous (stella clx8), how to decide when to use flash or continuous ?

    • @BandH
      @BandH  Před 4 lety

      Whether to use flash or continuous lighting would depend on the application. For those who want to see their results immediately, one might choose continuous lighting. One who needs to stop action might choose a flash.

    I am sorry but of late B&H has really had some boring speakers in their event space. These images are just average and nothing special that I can see. Have you run out of interesting photographers in New York. I used to only watch B&H event space shows, but these aren't worth it. Too many other interesting photographers with content on CZcams now days.

    I shot group shots in the midday sun. it was so annoying and disappointing. the lighting is horrible and group shots make it worse since i cant place lighting close to the subjects

      I've had this situation. I put a bare bulb strobe over my shoulder and had them face away from the sun. It's not the best situation but their faces will be properly lit and they'll be happy.

      @@darianrundall6618 it was tougher because they had to pose on a big statue a certain way. and away from the sun the statue casted shadows over the people. it was such a pita. People need to learn that midday sun is terrible for photography
