It has been a while since a tool box your! Great setup!
Very true. And this is actually a couple months old I just hadn't post it yet so my tool box has changed since I recorded this lol. Thank you
I like that socket collection, wow
Thank you
Have had this box in a automotive shop for a little over a year and I don’t have complaints. Great box with plenty of real-estate, with that being said I wish it was easier to clean but other then that it’s a great box and has held up well even with a 17 year old beating it up everyday🤣
Thank you Tony I love watching your videos I am watching from South Africa
Thank you I appreciate that
Nice tour. I have the same box and love it, I don’t think I can ever have a box without soft close drawers now.
Ya I know what you mean haha the soft close is a great feature
I'm jealous tony! Nice tools love how you have everything organized.
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed
good tour. Have a few of the same the same sockets, except mostly old usa craftsman, blackhawk and kobalt from closeouts. My texton collection is growing.. Waiting for the next video.
Very nice thank you. It should be out next week
Like all of us from the military. Its better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. Good vid
Very true. Thank you
Thank you Tony I watching your wonderful videos I am from South Africa
Thanks for watching
Hello again Tony
Thank you for another Great Video. Your Toolbox is looking Great. Again thank you
Thank you!!
I already have a 4 piece Mayhew, striking cap pry bar set, but I just bought the Menard's Masterforce 3 piece striking cap pry bars for my buddy. Made in the USA, $24.99!
Yep that's a great set. Same set as the Craftsman ones I own. Same as the tekton and the hypertough. All the same Pry bars but master force has them for the best price. Great choice!! 👍
Nice setup! I have a 8 drawer Snap on cart its over loaded. Time for a upgrade but its all personal garage stuff. 90% of my stuff is snap on only cause my friend has a route and gives me deals. Thanks for the tour
Thank you. Very nice. I wouldn't pass up on those either if I could get good deals 👍
@@TonyTheTechnician it's probably the only reason I have Snap on stuff. I was never a truck account guy I buy straight up when I have the money even if it means saving up. I like some of ur stuff going to look into it. I have a old ass box full of junk that needs to be cleaned out see what I'm missing and need to fill sets
@@frankm8533 that's understandable. Thank you!!
I just looked up trace my space and I just say wow very nice.
Ya when I first found out about them I was very surprised and after I placed the order and submitted my pictures i was afraid of the fitment. And was blown away with how accurate and well the fit the box and the tools
Great to see an updated tour, can’t wait for part two
Thank you
I have the same Husky box and its fantastic for the price point.
Absolutely agree. 👍
@@TonyTheTechnician hey I’m about to pick this box up. Have you had any issues with the drawers sagging due to weight of tools or any other problems?
Nice set up, I need to organize...
Thank you
Great tour Tony.
Thank you
Great organization Tony
Thank you
Very nice set up my friend!
Thank you
I've been looking for a tool foam company for so long definitely going to check out trace my space
They did an amazing job for me
Enjoyed the box video
Thank you
Awesome review.😍
Thank you
I think you have a plier addiction! 😅
I can't argue that lol 👍
Those are so very nice tools and big tool box. Love it my patriot brother Tony. Very clean and nice set up. Do you have and digital torque wrench? And which ones do you prefer, click or digital style torque wrenches? 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
I don't own a digital if I did it would probably be the gearwrench one. Thank you!!! I have used click style for so long it's what I'm used too
Do you think this box would hold up in an automotive shop. As a secondary box for less often used tools?
Hi Tony - will you do review on your other items? GREAT video!
Thanks yes indeed
That tool box is nice in the matte black. Has been holding up quite well ?
Ya it's over 6 years old now and doing very well. The only issue I've ever had is the 2 side black gloss trim pieces are held on with 3m tape and started to come off but that was an easy fix and they are just for looks
Mmmm Camaro
Haha 👍
No matter what german made tools like Flex and Knippex are the very best all around the world. Best wrenches are made by german manufacturer Gedore. They never fail. But not sure if these are available in the US or Canada.
HOAH!!!! Nice set up!
Isn't your box a flat grey one? I've seen the flat black at HD and that really was black.
Reading Amazon reviews some state the new Gear Wrench Pick sets suck. Wonder If Tekton or Doyle would be better.
I haven't had any problems with mine the handle is the only thing they changed. Maybe they are bulky? I'm not sure
All your tools look brand new! Do you not use your home set often kr are you just an extremely clean worker? I ask because im ocd and often obsess over cleaning tools.
These are all of my home tools which still get used every week on my project car and maintenance on the other vehicles but since I keep up with those vehicles and they are clean the tools themselves stay fairly clean but when they are dirty I will go through at the end of the job with a rag and wd40 and wipe all the tools down. Now the tools in my work vehicle are another story but I'll have a video on that soon as well
@@TonyTheTechnician Cool thanks for your reply! Ive recently started buying better quality aka more expensive tools so I am taking better care of them. I used to clean my tools with brake cleaner and ruined more than a few handles! Lol I started using lysol kitchen and bath cleaner instead. All the paint on my SK screwdrivers are gone because of brake cleaner.
@@KGrasso89 ya on the race team we used brake Clean on everything and ya it ruins stuff pretty quickly lol. The first few times it does a great job but then it goes downhill from that point. Ya I started using wd40 about 5 years ago and it's been working great. If it's a comfort grip then I'll wipe it on and wipe it off but when it comes to sockets or Ratchets or anything like that I just wipe it on.
@@TonyTheTechnician I never even realized until recently how much damage brake clean caused to my tools. 😝 They are tools and meant to get the job done but who doesn't like to have a box full of shiny new looking tools!? Lol just picked up a can of surface shield by Blaster and have been using that almost exactly how your using WD40.
@@KGrasso89 haha ya it's crazy how much damage brake clean does and ya I know what you mean. I also do it bc when you have severe winters and humid summers it helps protect the tools from rust as well.
Do you have any maintenance routine for your tools? I have this same box. It seems like a lot of my tools, especially anything from HF, have become rusted or are showing signs of rust.
I use wd40 on my tools and I keep silica packs in my drawers
Can I borrow a pair of pliers ? Dam , Pliers always get used ....
Love the reviews got hooked on tekton tools ( your fault) lol but just wondering im redoing all my tools and garage and i love that tekton banner thats in the background any idea were i can grab one of those i talked to tekton but they actually were not helpful but I still have faith in there tools not there rep but yea if you have any ideas let me know thanks
Thank you. Haha dang. This banner doesn't exist anymore I got it at the pri show like 4 or 5 years ago. They do have a tekton banner on the website though.
Got a question for you. Did you ever have that problem where one of the liners just wants to get squished up in the drawer no matter what you try? I’ve tried different tapes none hold.
No I have not. None of mine have moved but I can see that would be super annoying
@@TonyTheTechnician yup for some reason one of mine has always had that problem. It’s in a drawer with real light stuff and it seems like it just bunches up no matter what super annoying
You try 3m double sided tape in each corner
@@TonyTheTechnician I tried double sided tape not 3m brand I’ll give it a shot
OK ya and if that doesn't work get yourself a few strong small magnets for each corner. That should hold it down 👍
How did you get your GI bill to pay for the tools?
It was part of the school's list of things students needed. It was provided by the school to every student so it was just standard. The school has alot of veterans so it was just a normal situation
Where did you get the short caliper hooks? (Red ones)
They came in a tool subscription
I just got thisd box
the magnetic strip on back sucks
Mine is fantastic. Maybe they have changed it in the last 6 years
Sup bro
Hey how are you
1st!
👍
So you were never a dealership tech?🤔
I worked at an independent shop for 3 years before the army
Where’s your junk drawer with fittings washers and wire lol
Lmao it's my bottom drawer of my matco box and an organizer I have mounted on the wall
