I have to say I like the motto but only for people willing to fight for their country. There are plenty of beautiful women to make that happen.
If you want I can give you some recipes that packed a ton of calories for the Americans who exployered the country on foot when it was explored in the 1800's. This food does not need to be refrigerated and uses only natural foods and fats. It is made from nuts meats and vegetable's. You only need a few bits to get all the calories for a day.

@@ThinkUkraineP.s: I live in 40 degrees heat every Indian summer too, however that must be so super hot for European people! luckily in Indian homes we have ceiling fans as the bare minimum so it is normal, but even despite that feel very hot sometimes

Hello, and enormous respect from Ventura, California. “Make Love, Not War,” came from the anti-Vietnam movement from when I was draft age. The United States was engaged in a war with a country that did not attack us. When news of the bombing campaigns in Laos and Cambodia came to light, the anti War movement really picked up steam. In many ways we saw the role that the US was playing had more in common with Russia and what they’ve done in Ukraine. We were the invaders like Russia and were being forced through the draft to fight against countries that had not attacked us. We certainly would have felt different about it had we been attacked in the same manner that Ukraine was. That young men are dodging the draft and refusing to defend Ukraine while using the slogan from my anti-Vietnam anti-draft days to escape defending their own families and the people of their own country that is suffering under an invasion by their neighbor is inexcusable.

I do pray for Ukrainians and hope for a quick end to this Russian aggression war. Your garden reminds me of spending time at my Grandparent's farm. We were poor but they had a marvelous garden. To get through the Winter we would spend every Saturday canning food, making strawberry rhubarb jam, and stocking the shelves in the cellar. We would even can beef if a cow was butchered that year and that meat was wonderfully tender after canning. I wish all the best to you and your children!

Here in the UK during World War 1, if there was a man of fighting age that refused to go to war, the local women would often give that man a white feather, which was a sign of cowardice, to try and shame him into going. I'm not saying that this was necessarily a good thing or a bad thing, I just thought it was interesting.

I am from Germany but a Canadian resident. I admire Ukraine since my first arrival in Borispol in May 1994 after I organized a humanitarian truck / trailer from Germany to Alpha & Omega Christian Student Society in Dnepropetrovsk. Two more truck / trailer units followed within 2 year. A 40 ft high cube container was send from the Alaska High Way in Canada to Odessa for the Head Quarter of CARITAS Ukraine. One 40 Truck / Trailer load with 27 000 KG went to Chernigov to the care of Anatoly Ligun and Valentina Bondarenko. With a Chrysler Van of my German Friend I made many humanitarian trips to Ukraine as well. starting in L'viv in a Catholic Monastery. As soon as this terrible war is over. I will return with humanitarian aid to Ukraine again, also visiting my classmate from Agriculture College in Rogi near Uman who farms since 17 years very successful 5 100 Hectare.

Hi, fruit from your own garden is more tasty because supermarket stuff is usually harvested when it is still unripe.
It is good that you have at least a few good memories from life before the war. The war can not last for ever and good memories will increase in number from then.

Having lived with summers that can be over 40 degrees Centigrade I would suggest the following. Wear a broad-brimmed cotton hat and long-sleeved shirt and polarized wrap-round sunglasses when outside during the day. Work outside in the early morning or late afternoon when it is cooler. Stay inside and keep well hydrated with fresh water during the heat of the day. You need to keep the risk of skin cancers, eye damage and heat stroke to a minimum. The ultra-violet light of summer can be very damaging. Perth, Western Australia.

Hello Vita, for pulling out the weeds, buy a Weed Puller that can be operated by your foot and its long handle (like a shovel handle), so you do not have to bend and touch them. The Weed Pullers take out the weeds and their roots so, they will be less likely to grow back up. Most likely your local gardening shop has them. They also sell them online. If you search online you can see the pictures. Very handy and they will save a lot of time and energy. Your garden looks amazing. You are an excellent Gardner 😊

Is it time to go across the street and say, "Hello. I'm your neighbour, Vita. I was wondering if you could teach me how to play the guitar. And by the way, if you ever need someone to watch your kids while you and your wife go out on a date, feel free to ask me." You need an outdoor BBQ. Cut those butternut squash longwise, use a spoon to scrape out the seeds, brush with oil, salt and pepper, crush a garlic. Put them on a baking sheet cut-side down on a crushed garlic and bake at 400 degrees F for 40 minutes. Eat like that or make a soup. You're welcome. 🇺🇦

It is of vital interest to me,to get to the truth on this situation,that is the main reason why I need to know everything about this war. From what I have heard from news, the situation is very bad, and Russia has violated the borders of your land, which is injustice to your people. Every missile fired, every drone is injustice to your society. I have been learning a lot about world war 2 and the tensions between nations at time, and we are in that same tensions again. People are tired of this, and they just want the leaders to resolve the issues asap. Leaders keep avoiding the resolution to this problem, and that is the main issue. It is sad to know, that your family is affected by it too. Strength of the mind is of prime importance in this war, and Ukrainian people are resilient and strong people who withstood Russian attacks of injustice.

Within next 2 years, air temperature will reduce as solar cycle changes from solar maximum. You should get a camp/camper's wood stove. They are compact, create a lot of heat and can easily make kitchenware hot to cook by. They generally all come with their own stovepipes and would be a great grid down tool to have. As long as you have wood, paper, coal, you have a contained fire that provides a lot of heat at a cheap price.

Hi Vita, vinegar and salt, with a little dish soap added as a surfactant makes a great non-toxic weed killer for the garden. I usually add a little eucalyptus oil to make my weed killer even more powerful. I don't know if the oil is available in your area. Cayenne pepper added to the mix can also effectively burn the leaves of the weeds, but it does tend to clog up a sprayer nozzle unless well-dissolved in the liquid through warming it up first. Cayenne pepper mixed with dish soap is also a good insecticide to keep aphids and other insects off of vegetable leaves. Best of luck with your gardening!

Thanks for showing us the "commie blocks." 🙂 I lived in one too, a mid-rise like the ones you showed. I don't remember the apartments being tiny, but I was a kid, so maybe they were. The irony is that in many ways, they are superior to what developers are building all over Europe. The amount of green public space between them is much larger than new developments have, it's lovely once the trees are mature, and as you showed in your video, people use the space.
