    I used to fly "with" these on missions, from time to time, in Vietnam.Very nice recreation - especially the sun/heat induced weathering.
    Thank you for sharing...

    That was a superb jet back in its day. Very maneuverable and could carry a huge ordinance load. An outstanding build yet again. Thanks for sharing.

    I just finished the same Academy kit. Academy kits come from South Korea. They are probably the least expensive kits for sale if you can find them. I had trouble because of it being so tiny. When I was younger it was easy building and painting but now I'm old and my hands and fingers are fat. My Dragonfly came out pretty nice, however. I think I will stick to building the larger scale kits from now on. It makes me mad at how greedy the kit manufacturers are now days. The price for a kit has gone up 30 times higher in price over the past 40 years. Building plastic model cars, ships and airplanes used to be an affordable hobby, especially for poor kids. Shame too because many kids learned mechanical and aeronautical design and workings by building scale models. Now you have to be pretty well off to afford this hobby.

      Yeah the cheapest models ive found were 1:72 revel kits in germany so I have a couple qued up. I would make them if I didnt get so caught up in paper models like stahlheart or on the world of tanks russia page where they are pretty good and free

    Really nice. Academy are turning out some great 1/72 scale aircraft now. That is a highly detailed kit for such a small scale. I have just got this kit to make, and will follow up with the Academy A 10 Thunderbolt. Well done.

    Nice work. I just bought this kit in this scale and I'm studying to see how to go about it. I learned a lot by observing how you handled some of its tricky sections. Overall this came out great.

    Nice to see a 1:72 scale build of a small AC. People seem really fixated on the big stuff, makes you wonder where they keep it.

    Turned out really nice. I am building a 1/48 scale A-37B at the moment. Having some issues with my airbrush so I am a bit behind in priming but I'll get it figured out..might buy a better quality airbrush.

    used to have hasegawa one back in 70s but threw it away with other teen toys. Was T-37 trainer with twin J85 engines for Vietnam air force to complement F-5 when Americans would not give them real planes like A-7 or F-4. These would work fine today against insurgents in Iraq or Afghanistan.

    Working the the same kit. I am having a hard time getting the decals to conform. Nothing seems to work. I tried Tamiya's Mark Fit, Super Sol and Microscale Micro Set. They will not lie down. What did you use? Any suggestions?

    • @SallMY
      @SallMY  Před 4 lety

      They are on the thicker side on the decal. I have tried Air brushing some tamiya thinner on the decal. Just don't touch the decal after that.

    What would you recommend to beginner modelers as a good starter kit to get into the hobby?

    • @norwegiancuber8717
      @norwegiancuber8717 Před 9 lety

      aforce66 I would go for an airfix starter kit. It gets you the basics of what you need to make a model.
