Jan Holden!! My counseling professor in early 90s. NDEs were not on my radar at that time. Almost twenty years later I had a life changing NDE... in a hospital in Washington D.C. Fast forward... years later... I was back in Texas and I met with her... she helped me know I was not “crazy”... the hard part of an NDE is that it radically changed me and I’m still evolving from this change. Earthly life is difficult now as I was so completely myself in that realm. It’s a journey... and I’m still learning. I love Jan... she was an extraordinary professor and then years later.. a friend who was there for me. She’s an amazing soul! Thank you for this conversation!!! Love to you both❤️

Dr. Miner’s comment about interest in The Sleeping Prophet was about Edgar Cayce.

Intrigued and great to hear such thoughts and possible answers. I too meditate (TM) and experience similar conundrums But Deepak, you ask how can all the people and memories we are be the work of atoms etc but it’s the next layer question that always pops up for me… how then can consciousness do all this. Can we actually know how the human physiology works at deep physical level, just as we are content to not understand how consciousness works if it were indeed outside the body. I have come to experience it is …but does that mean it is .. 😶🤣… I’ve come full circle to the possibility that there’s much more to the physical than we’re prepared to accept ..and are busy looking outward at a consciousness field…outside. Perhaps the reality is somewhere in the middle…

I believe I had a NDE when I was 4years old & remember the details very clearly. The interesting point is that as an adult my verbal explanation is still as adult. The visualisation and sensation is the same now (I believe) as it was as a 4yo but I cannot recall the vocabulary as I would have had as a child. I just thought this was worth mentioning. By the way that was 58years ago 🙏

No body no universe.. then the next level question remains.. where and how did the ‘original’ being or consciousness come about

This pisses off richard dawkins so much due to lack of proper rationality

Oh you mean the proper rationality that has not found a cure for the common cold, is working on creating a man machine and has invested its expertise in creating weapons of war. Granted modern science has made much progress for humanity, but it has now turned into a monster of arrogance and limited thinking. Save us from Dawkins a truly horrible man.
