The fact they nerfed GP's Q spam going back really made the champ actually have to play with his barrels more. I really liked that change.
They also removed navori build for gp soo no more spaming barrels aswell 😂
@@nikako2630 At least spamming barrels is fairly skill intensive with timing and whatnot. Q is just a point and click and used to do WAY too much damage early for a champ that is supposed to struggle early.

@@nikako2630 Easier said than done to use barrels well, especially early game against a good player than knows to auto them just as they hit third tick to use barrels well. It definitely is a skill one needs to learn, especially when you want to combine it with GP's passive. Q spam is just....Q spam. It is a point and click that, prior to the nerfs, did WAY too much damage. And Riot seemed to agree, hence the Q nerfs and the barrel buffs.

GP one shots you late regardless of how much health or armor you have. Trynd is just stronger early.
GP better team fight than trynd in most comps.
@@thanosofthecommunistdruzhi9107 Nah, Tryn counters a lot of meta top champs including cancer ones like rumble, gwen, fiora who usually win top lane. However, his value is mostly laning and splitting and not team fight.

Around the 7:16 time stamp. Can someone explain to me why GP didn't fight him while Tryndamere was under his tower? P.S I'm a noob who's still learning.
I think he was focused on the minions so Trynda can't take more plates and if he fights the minions would damage GP a lot and Trynda could just walk away with his R.

Fiora, Gnar, Poppy, Jayce, etc. are all really, really hard matchups that you have to play really well to not get bodied. Poppy especially is one of the hardest counters to trynd around. Also, if you have no soul, Vayne top, which is the counter to basically every melee top in the game and you are a scumbag for playing, but you know that if you play vayne top.
@@tygonmaster Nah, Fiora and Jayce are countered by trynd. Gnar stomps on trynd pretty hard. Poppy is more of a skill matchup, you are thinking too much about her knockup to spin, Trynd can just walk at her, he has a lot more sustain. Trynds tend to lose to poppy if they try to dive her under tower when the correct play is just to push and get plates. Yeah, vayne beats trynd too, but the hardest counter is not any of these, it is just ww. Trynd cannot win lane against ww as long as the ww isn't afk since ww out sustains him.

I am a D1 trynd player, and fogged is miles better than me. Trynd is not op by any stretch. He is actually extremely difficult and often sucks in team fights. You can’t make any mistakes. This was a great game, and even with fogged playing flawlessly his team gave free kills with bad fights throughout it

How many videos does this make of fogged obliterating sb over the years lol. Not to take away from sb, fogged just smashes scaling picks like gp early game with trynd, and honestly you don’t watch sb for laning phase, you watch him for late game team fight crazy one shots (but you 100% watch fogged for the laning phase)
Nah, it isn't because gp is scaling. GP cannot match trynd sidelane late game either. Trynd is a counter to gp, that's why gp loses. Nasus is a scaling champ and shits on trynd in lane and late game.
Well, not so much shits on, but nasus basically has free farm in lane, there's no kill pressure from either side and nasus scales better than trynd.

@@Scientist287 As trynd you'll obviously win trades, but a good nasus can just farm under tower and wither if wave bounces back. A great nasus will prevent crashes and freeze at their turret for free farm. There's not much kill pressure from trynd even if wave is bouncing back, wither is op.
@@nuknukisdead mmm interesting, yeah I usually just kill nasus on repeat starting when he first shows up on my screen but I think if they played extremely passive and gave up a lot early it would be tough
