Not AMG, AMG package...I have a 08 same car 7 years. Trun key and go. Cali car. I did a chrome delete , black roof wrap custom exhaust. Diamond grill and carbon rear spolier and diffuser. Pushing 400hp. I get compliments all the time. I almost bought the lexus 400 2010 but the low window profile and ride sold me. I luv the CLS smooth ride with exhaust hum , sweet. Good luck all ❤
It's not an AMG. It's a CLS with the AMG package such as wheels and emblem. It doesn't have the AMG motor, suspension and interior. If it was a real AMG it would be a CLS 63 AMG. Post it for $7000 to get rid of it fast, Champ.
There is also a cls 55 that came out in 06

You incorrectly comparing an infiniti M37 s to a Mercedes CLS 550 AMG.. 2 different ball parks...just because the M37 is newer doesn't mean anything.. anything AMG is more expensive.... and you keep saying you see CLS on market place for 7900 or so and you looking to only get 5500 to 6500?? That's a AMG 550 you better advertise that car like you supposed to that ain't no regular CLS

January I bought a 2008 CLS 550 from Copart for Flood Damage. These things have issues with the sunroof drains, that can bring water into the interior and such. I got a steal on mine, $900 before fees. The chrome piece above the license plate on the trunk lid can also leak water. Yours has fantastic interior though - its a great looking car for sure...you'll have no problem selling it.
Things I like on this are the tinted windows and this sunroof...also its interior is super clean with leather seats and stuff💥💥

That's a good condition 550 I bought one for 6,000 on my credit card with 87,000 miles and a guy bought it off me for 8,700 within a week of me having it money well made the hustle is real
in setting theres a option to put the car in tow mode or tire change u need to switch to on bcuz if u dont ur suspension will get dmaged

Man you going need more then just the bumper cover. The actual metal bumper behind the cover look bent down as we at the shock part that is built to collapse during a collision.

Yoooo what's the name of the Mercedes parts shop you went to in Braselton, Ga?
Its not an AMG it would be CLS 55 if it was an AMG. A 550 designates the engine size that is probably a 5.5 liter V8. Also on the interior at the gear selector you would have 4 buttons one for AMG turbo boost that year would have a V8 Bi-Turbo badge on the left and right fenders. The upside is you still have dual turbo's chargers and a bullet proof engine. That car is no punk in sports mode.

Check on them air springs and compressors bro. At 100k they start to leak and or the compressors start to wear out. Might wanna get that gone before the air suspension go out.
The car stayed up because it was lifted before placing in service mode so the shocks have to reset.. its a air suspension and lifting it before placing in service mode can damage the shocks so be careful

I think any car with this motor in 2007 had cam gear issues or something so I try to avoid buying anything 350 or 550. It was fixed in the following years I’m told. Anything with the M113 or m113k though in the future I would always buy if it runs good. I love working on these cars. When I get my SL first thing I’m doing is swapping to coil over. The suspension will always fail eventually with the ABC.
Always keep the window cracked never get locked out again, and I sold my cls550 for 6200 with 158000 miles 2006

I locked my keys in one time to but I had a huge ass crack in my windshield so instead of paying a key lock smith and then pay to repair the crack windshield I decided to bust it with a hammer and stick my arm in lmao got me home and in reality it didn’t cost me anything cause I needed to replace the windshield any how

I’d keep the lex as a daily all day. I used mine to deliver Amazon for 2 years and it was a very stout vehicle until I got hit with a semi and had to park it.

Do you have a water leak coming in the passenger side floor 🤔 area? because it look like it's wet, and by the way to find out if it's a real AMG you will have to open the hood and look at the engine if you see the person name that built the engine signature on it, that means it a real AMG,

Looks good congrats, but the cls 550 is not an amg . It has the amg appearance package which mercedes offers amg trim package but not the amg motor. The cls 63 is w true amg. Nice tho I drive a s550 my self
