One undeniable thing was Singaporean cared too much about schooling system and worried too much about school grade without knowing what’s going on outside. Only talking educate is nonsense without knowing how to tackle situation. I can say Singaporeans are too obsolete and obedient by allowing those different cyber crime surrounding around you.

I got this scram call a year ago... i have no credit card. He keep saying i have... then i was like go ahead and come catch me if you got proof... and saying i going report to the police... then he hang up and the number cant get throu anymore... lol been a year no china police come

I bought a SIM card in Ipoh Makro Tasek Digi outlet, the salesman tells me I've to get my 'fathers' passport and house phone, address, etc and his permission. I didn't think much, mind you I was in my 30s. Then my parents received a call saying your KID has been taking drugs and police detained him. Then had the kid screaming and shouting and crying.
My parents quickly called me asked if I'm ok.
Really despicable phone shop I hope they get caught! I've been a law abiding scholar working for the government all my life. Also I would never make a scene just keep quiet even if someone were to shoot me I'll just stay calm

She and the other guy are both dumb dumb. She has no malicious intent so she’s also a victim cos she’s duped into staging it.
She was classified as a victim as she has been duped and induced into committing those acts. Under Section 79 of the Penal Code, there is no offence committed if a person who is ignorant, committed an offence believing him/herself to be bound by a law to do so.
Second, under the Section 17 of the Misuse Drugs Act, indeed a person would been presumed to have trafficked a drug if he/she has possession over a certain amount of drugs in its pure form. However, the law also provides that if the person could prove beyond a reasonable doubt to not have trafficked drugs, then he/she could also walk away.
Both circumstances are different and should be looked at on a case by case basis. There are no double standards here.
