- Dev1ce is the latest super star player to transition into the IGLing role. and star players as IGL’s does not have a good track record, with NiKo’s awful attempt IGL’ing FaZe, BlameF in the end of complexity and astralis. But maybe, just maybe Dev1ce is just built different. In this video i will breakdown some rounds from faze vs Astralis and go into the depths of how Device function as an IGL vs faze and VP, to answere the burning question…is Dev1ce a good IGL?

Apex is probably the only superstar turned IGL that really worked. Yes Apex was a star talent in 2014-2015 era him and KennyS were the only reason titan won anything, then Envy. Maybe Cadian is also in that role, though my knowledge on him is rather lacking. I think device has a decent shot at it, he learned from 3 of the best Danish IGLs and the best to ever do it.
Well karrigan was at one pointed tanked 8th best in the world(2011). So i guess it worked for him as well XD
But agreed here, the only superstar that has turend IGL and made it work is apEX (an karrigan)
sure, device can use all blameF strats, but what happens when new strats and tactics are needed, or astralis get antristratted, or when things don't go their way in a game they need to get back into? then we will see if device can REALLY igl.
I'm sure the same analysts and coaching staff that Blamef got help from can support device in doing pre game preperations as well.
When device where on hltv confirmed he said they scraped everything.

Did you forget that Dev1ce was part of the OG Astralis lineup that was known for their tactical depth? Do you think he was a joyrider in that team and didn't contribute in any way to building the best team in the world? You people really underestimate dev1ce. Maybe it's recency bias or you truly don't know who he is.
@@Norwayscsexactly. He said the same thing during IEM Chengdu. Dev1ce isn't a fool. He wouldn't just copy blameF's or Gla1ve's strats.
I've heard br0 is a great space-maker. Do you think you can confirm that now that you've watched the demos?
Just on round 6, you can see how well he makes space, solo on A-site pushing broky out forcing faze to react. So yeah i agree here

and saying Niko's tilt and device monitor punch is the same thing is dumb Elizabeth.
Tilting is a part of the game, but punching a sceen is not. I hope you can see the differences, if not I will pray for you.
