I always set up my computer in my Lego studio whenever I'm living with my parents, although my backdrop isn't quite impressive. Your non-Lego stuff flows pretty seamlessly with the Lego props. Plus, same monitor! I'm seriously jealous of this space.
Nowadays so long as you are living with people you can tolerate, the place is decent and the rent is affordable, what does it matter if it happens to be your parents' basement?

Good perspective and I hold the same view! I can happily work my day job and still do LEGO and CZcams comfortably. Definitely not a complaint!
