    Sounds good to me. I am a fan of Liam Montier and BBM. The results you achieve for very little effort are attractive.Cheers David.

    Great adaptation by Liam Montier. I use “Predicshun” which is a very quick, almost throwaway, but big reaction.
    This will be nice for a little more story line and possibly slightly bigger reaction.

    Great review! I've never had any of the fortune telling cards. Looks like fun.

    Hi David. Excellent review. I am going back to Paul Curry's Touch to compare. Thanks so much for all you do! Your friend, David

    If I’m hearing correctly if you get the gypsy witch deck and this effect, you can do more overall effects to do when used together?

    • @magicorthodoxy
      @magicorthodoxy  Před 2 měsíci +1

      the gypsy deck is NOT a magic deck, it's just a deck of cards with "fortunes" on them

    Great review as always. I've been trying to teach my daughter magic, but she's such a know-it-all. I'm starting to regret naming her Alexa 😅

    I like “Predicshuns” better. It has a “Touch” handling included.
    Thanks for reviewing David 👍👍

    Is it similar to Past Present Future by Rick Lax?

  • @TheSuccessfulHuman
    @TheSuccessfulHuman Před 2 měsíci +1

    Does this use the MT move?

  • @tonyeye101
    @tonyeye101 Před 2 měsíci +1

    My only negative is that it does not use the Gypsy Witch back design. This deck does open up a world of effects you can do with a GW deck due to the gaffs.

  • @jamesedwards5702
    @jamesedwards5702 Před 2 měsíci +1

    Would you think this is comparable to Past Present Future from Rick Lax? Better, easier? Just an opinion, my friend.

    • @magicorthodoxy
      @magicorthodoxy  Před 2 měsíci

      easier - no memory work no R & S

      Great, thank you so much. I do have the Rick Lax trick. But I really like this. Take care, James.

    I got excited to see a new BBM / Montier release.
    But have to admit, was disappointed when I worked out the method - i'm usually fooled pretty easily.
    Is it just me that finds the MT move weak and obvious?

    • @magicorthodoxy
      @magicorthodoxy  Před 2 měsíci

      Fair enough!

    • @michaelkorabek1676
      @michaelkorabek1676 Před 2 měsíci +1

      The MT move is only weak if you don't perform it well just like any other slight.

      Hi, I don't know you, where you are from or your competency in magic!? But I too worried about doing 'the move' three times in succession - especially since I knew 'greats' like Bob Ostin, Peter Kane et al and they had a mantra about limiting the Curry Turnover to ONLY do it once. I won't go through my whole routine, just the basics. They have chosen a card, they HAVE to decide if "they" think it was from THEIR Past, Present OR Future (they MUST consider it carefully!). You (the performer), pick up the two NOT chosen, put them away (I have some nice comments about their decision - why both would have been wrong etc!). Then do the 'move' ONCE and 'explain' the outcome. Again, ( IF ) you are a good performer, you won't bring attention to the casual 'move', spending more time on why THEIR psych got them to choose that particular card! There is more than one way to 'skin a cat' (funny thing, I have NEVER wanted to own or skin a cat... DUH!). I have a final 'kicker' to prove 'again' that I knew in advance their choice, but I'm not giving my whole routine away here In an open forum, just use a little imagination yourself. LOL 😂😂😂

    Is it always the same outcome David?

    • @magicorthodoxy
      @magicorthodoxy  Před 2 měsíci +1

      the same outcome? Your spectator can chose any 3 cards in a deck, it'll always be different

    They will dive to pick up the cards. Hobbyists buy magic. This will go in their drawer.
