I'd imagine rain is a special occasion for the Citizens of City 17 given that, y'know, with how disrupted the water cycle probably is given the drainage of large bodies of water...
I’d honestly imagine them putting their buckets outside so they don’t have to drink the water the makes you forget everything
I refuse to accept City 17 is that well lit at night
You can see it in HL2, right at the end as you take the elevator to the top of the citadel.
City 17 is Breen's base of operations, it makes sense for C17 to be well-lit
memes aside the sound of the rain is pretty well recorded, I can almost smell the wet asphalt. better than all these asmr rain videos on youtube
It would be very cool to see heavy rain like this in a HL game. Even cooler if it happened on some really big event like the resistance finally taking out the combine. Cool stuff
Plot twist: it's actually raining acid from all the pollution.
@@mrscruffles801 they drain materials and then admit carbon fuels and shit
@@chairy9775 The pollution element was phased out during early development of Half Life 2
You sir have answered my prayers. Sweet sweet peaceful sounds.
I wish this was a map, I would love to patrol
I would really like to fall asleep with this ambience, I love the Rain and overwatch sounds,if you think about it, it really shows how some people would collaborate with the combine
I'd like to imagine this was set maybe a year or two after the 7 hour war and the combine had just begun stripping earth of it's resources and caused an environmental collapse similar to the blade runner universe. The heavy rain storms only are somehow the effect of the combine slowly draining the oceans from earth.
I was just thinking about how there was no rain level.
This making me hope aliens come control us like cattle. This shit relaxing
Nothing like some acid rain to fall asleep to
Wow, these are just awesome (and underrated as hell)
Great listen thank you
2am just what I need to fall asleep ty yt recommended
Sleeping in a secret rebel base hidden in plane sight with actual decent beds/blankets
С дождём более атмосфернее получилось
Love it!
Very Nice! O love!
City 17 İçin İftar Vakti
Bro 7:22 gave me chills
agreed - so rare for ambiance creators to include something so unique and awesome
Perfect!
Having Los Angeles in the background makes no sense. What were you thinking?
It does appear to be raining.
This is nice
amazing
background perspective doesnt make much sense... great audio tho
Not me crying to this because I want to live that life 😊
Is possible to add this ambience to Half life 2 original? Would be cool i think
i this a mod or somehting or is it jsut a vidfeo edit thing because this looks amazing
I'd love to live in City 17. But it isn't real :(
07:15 boom
Sometimes I wish I lived in City 17, also What maps are these?
poggers
hl2 beta vibe
Have you got any videos with no ads?
Unfortunately, I don't have control over ads. I'll only be able to remove this excessive number of ads when the channel is monetized. The quantity of ads is still under CZcams's control, and they placed too many, which is disrupting the video. When I reach 1000 subscribers, I will reduce the ads to a minimum!
this gives me beta vibes
An alien-controlled dystopia helped me fall asleep, huh.
You’re feeling grateful for not being in it.
TBH, said dystopia is so much more interesting than real life; I cannot STAND the current political climate in America as of this moment, and I am to be registered to VOTE in 10 DAYS.
@@ryaneaston3487Just imagine being the last generation ever because you now have lost the ability to reproduce. You have to constantly worry about civil protection knocking on your door and potentially killing you. You always move from city to city which means that you will always meet new people and there's a high likelihood that you'll never see the people you know again, you would also probably be separated from your own family so you basically have no one.
@@gues.t I am an introvert, am aroace, and it feels like any day now, someone is gonna gain too much power and ensure they maintain that power.
What happened to the America that I knew? Then again, I was blissfully stupid back when I saw America as a fine country.
