Hi Kappa after many long years! Thanks for posting this video. Really enjoyed scrutinizing each picture and trying to recall the names of guys. This was a wonderful memory recall exercise for my aging brain. Names of aome folks that your pics helped bring back from the deepest recesses of my memory are: Gemunu Siriwardena, Rohan Tennekoon, Ranjit Panabokke, AGSNK (Silver Tim Potassium!) Gamage, Irwin Howie, Shanthikumar, Dilipkumar, Niroshan, Cuda, JL Weera and many more that I have not met/seen since leaving college - some no longer with us. Pl post any pics you may have of teachers from that era - such as Sahayam Tuffy Titus etc? Thanks! - Josh, AZ, USA
Hello Kappa, thanks for sharing these memories. I was able to recognize almost everyone except the ladies including who seemed like lady teachers as none of them taught me. Not sure if these pictures were all printed in the Photography Club darkroom ... I think we were all members together though my memory might be playing tricks. Hi Aru, Great to hear from you maybe after 50+ years. Well all the photos featured in the video were processed at the TCK Photographic society darkroom. The original photos are still in good condition even after 50+ years. I did this video for one of our TCK Batch get-togethers. Group of 69. The lady teachers in the pictures joined college upper school in the late 60s. The girls featured are our counterparts from Hillwood College Kandy. Yes Anura was a great friend of ours He was a good rugby player. All these photos were from our collection in the 1960 s . Please forward this video to his wife Amoma. This video was done for our 1960/70 batch get-together held last year & showed it on a giant screen. we remembered Anura and others who are no more with us @ this event .
