Kalush Orchestra would have scored high no matter what. Rapping is rare in Eurovision, mixing folk and modern tunes is creative, native languages are appreciated, and it's catchy af.

The princess Kate Middleton, who is married to Britain’s Prince William, appeared in a pre-recorded clip playing an instrumental version of Kalush Orchestra’s winning song “Stefania” on the piano, which she recorded in the Crimson Drawing Room of Windsor Castle earlier this month.
The clip was part of a montage of different artists - including Lloyd-Webber and Ms Banks - who performed a version of the song alongside Kalush Orchestra themselves. Also featuring in the line-up were last year’s runner-up Sam Ryder, Ballet Black, Bolt Strings, and Joss Stone.

I love this year's Eurovision, it was such an interesting collaboration between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. I am fascinated by the work of dozens of people who filmed, edited and produced this competition, it is incredibly interesting. Haven’t watched Eurovision in quite a while and last year Ukraines win was a pleasant surprise, especially with the song. Seeing the show itself the first time in years, I felt joy watching it again. The performance, the sense of unity. All in all an outstanding performance
