Izumi didn't expel them for doing human transmutation but because Ed became a state alchemist. She won't recognize one of her students as a "Dog of the Military" because she holds them in contempt after the Ishvallan civil war.
Yeah, I have no idea why they decided to cut it from the show.
Izumi is definitely HER. Even the main characters fear her, and they know she at least somewhat likes them.
goodness these comments have a lot of negativity. Thank you for reacting to this series and for posting them regularly no matter how many eps are in each vid. From here on me and my brother started to binge the show because of how interesting and fast it got. I dig yall's passion and level of attention to the shows you watch, its very refreshing.

She isn’t a hypocrite, she learned the lesson the hard way, and wanted it to really sink in just how serious what the Elric brothers did was. As well as becoming state alchemists and using their powers for the military. You have to look deeper, it can’t be surface level analysis with Izumi. She still buckles down for her students no matter what! But she also gives hard lessons, because she herself has suffered.
Greed is basically the anime version of Deadpool, only less annoying

I don't remember if it's explained in the anime or glossed over, but diamond & graphite is composed entirely of carbons. So Greed is carbon from his body to form diamond skin, and Ed is turning it into graphite to beat his defenses.

The Yoki backstory is explained a bit more further in but it actually had an episode or two in the first anime. If you watched it then it would make this make a bit more sense now.

I don’t think it’s fair for y’all to dog AOTs dub…considering y’all only watched like 3-4 parts of it. If y’all watched it from the beginning(which you should) it wouldn’t have been so weird. I’ll agree that Erens scream is better in the sub because the sub VA has a deeper voice than the dub VA, I’ll give the sub ppl that, but yall didn’t even give it a chance y’all had already decided ya didn’t like the dubbed b4 you even watched any of it. Personally I think whichever version you start with will be the one you like the most & that if you watch it in your own language you’ll notice more things that happen on screen cuz your not reading and can focus more on the animation and stuff…but please for the love of god if y’all do watch another dubbed anime please, please, please turn off the subtitles!! Lol it defeats the whole purpose!
I think the old guard of anime fans have put such a stigma on watching dubbed that ppl don’t watch em cuz they’re afraid ppl will dog them for it but I’ve converted so many anime haters cuz I have them watch the dubbed versions! There’s a lot of ppl that don’t wanna read subtitles so they don’t even give any show a chance, I think if ppl would promote the dubs a little more(or be a little nicer towards em) it would open a lot of anime haters to the world of anime. Cuz everyone I talk to the first thing they say is “I don’t wanna have to read subtitles!” and when I tell them they don’t have to they are much more willing to watch an episode…and once ya get em watching one they’ll usually want to watch more!

Anime industry is not dying lmao, in fact there are huge amounts of Hollywood studios whom are perplexed by anime’s success, also AOTS dub sucks ass, one of the worse subs - I like a few dubs including fmab - but AOT dub is so bad, people don’t understand how much work the creator of aot manga went to actually coach and explain everything to the voice actors, it was true art
