- Change: the one true constant.
Back when I was crafting new business proposals, no matter how innovative our ideas seemed, there was always the understanding that not everyone would be on board. The question was, how do we bring them along on this journey? I always emphasized 'change management' as a crucial component. It's still surprising to me how often leaders leave this pivotal element to chance.
Join me as I explore XPLANE's ( @xplanevisualthinking ) 'Barriers to Change' card deck, a tool that's reshaping the way we think about and implement change strategy.
Discover how XPLANE is flipping the script - and the cards - on navigating organizational change.

I recently experienced a lack of "change management strategy" - kinda, "Changing the engines while flying the plane" approach if you will. Not fun at all.
How do you deal with change?
What options are available for facilitating this activity virtually over zoom?
We were considering to just create a simple Google Form / sheet. The other alternative we explored was to pop it into Mural/Miro ourselves.
It might just be a pain to do the initial capture of the quotes and indexing the cards.
@@WernerPuchert Manually creating digital cards to replicate the physical cards is an experiment I'm going to try..
@@roscoepicotrain if you manage to pull it off let me know how it went. Very Curious.
These look really interesting but I can’t believe the postage is almost as much as the cards! Weirdly if they’d charged $40 without adding charges I might have purchased them. Miserliness is clearly one of my barriers to change… 😅
Ouch. I can’t remember paying that much (and I’m pretty tight with the old $$$). Maybe drop ‘em a note - had had some success with other vendors before.
Thanks, I will - I can't believe it's $26 to post a pack of cards to the UK!
