Which is not necessarily a bad thing, nobody wants to lose face in front of others or to have their reputation damaged regardless of whether company is present at the situation. Ergo, it obviously was important because I made an attack on your intelligence, which lead to a logos appeal by mentioning your ACT score, something anyone secure in their intelligence would never mention. And then returned the attack from a spiteful yet reserved tone which was palpable in your response. Again, simple psychological defense.

I always knew this song was about a woman who never had a chance to learn what real love is, but at the age of 22, I can now understand that it even extends to her not knowing how to love herself. And the singer isn't just a man enamored by her, it's a man who's speaking a pure and well-intentioned truth. He's encouraging her to overcome her insecurities, to not blame herself for her trauma. And that's beautiful.
The music video tells a story of just how important it is for parents to love themselves and teach their children how to love.
