You get constant reviews on how you’re funny, uplifting, great, real, yada yada yada, so I’m going to focus on another facet of this podcast that I find to be five star worthy: punctuality. I had my fifth baby recently and during those middle of the night feedings and hours of holding/attempting to sleep upright in a rocker, I would always be so grateful at about 1 or 2 am on Monday and Wednesday mornings to have y’all be there to feel a little less bored, exhausted and alone. Always showing up on time, never missing a week, textbook dependability. And as someone whose life with lots of children leans a little more to the chaos end of the spectrum, it’s refreshing and almost grounding to have that sense of routine. I know that takes a ton of consistency to have never (?) missed a week and other people I listen to these days take time off from their podcasts for the silliest (excuse my language) reasons. On vacation? Record internationally! Cohost got married? Call in your own spouse or local teenaged producer!

Waited until Friday to listen so I could enjoy the pod at Friday gym cardio. I was reminded of a reason I was drawn to you guys in the beginning. My love of all things Kansas City, Kansas. My family was stationed at Ft. Leavenworth, KS for 10 months and it was my favorite place. Awesome sports watching. Loved the T Bones, Royals, Sporting. Everything was so easy; the traffic, the parking, getting tickets. Made life long friends at the Army base where the kids played in the neighborhood streets. All wonderful memories.

2. I’m personally not too much of a fan of football but it’s so fun watching you all fan out over it! I think a fun pod sode would be being a KC chief for a day. Like going to the training facility if possible.
3. When you mentioned Rugby, Jake, I was instantly reminded of the clips from Correct Opinions where Trey is talking about and you say “what are you gay?” Then I died laughing just minutes later when you said “Peacock won’t let me rewind!? Gay! I just like throwing that in there. Just middle school insults.” It all comes full circle!

6. I’ve been using an app that was an old sponsor of the pod. I started using Dwell Bible app to help me get back in the Word as I wanted to start reading my Bible more. By no means am I a worm except but I remember vaguely learning in my parasitology class that ring worm is actually just a fungal infection/ reaction and the inflammation/body reaction is what causes the white ring and redness leading to the name ring worm… so it’s not really a worm or helminth! So cool!

Jake, I've been creamer only in coffee for a while...regular, unflavored half and half has no added sugar and is a nice consistency...makes the coffee a lovely caramel color and gives it a smooth taste. I have found milk alternatives like coconut or almond to be too thin and I end up using way more than I would otherwise...and quite frankly, it never tastes as good!
