- Wild camping Scotland. An epic solo camp at Sawney Beans cave. A 15 century cannibal, a pretty gruesome history to the cave.
A stunning beach cove to camp at, with a steep hike down the cliffside to a great camp location.
Explored the inside if the cave to the far end which was dark and gloomy.
A fantastic spot to spend the the night under the stars.
Also my first real test of my New Ruko F11 GIM2 drone, which will hopefully add something to my future CZcams video content.

Awesome campout and location Colin. The video quality on your drone is very good. The cave was a bit spooky👻 I'm like you, I love to go camping to get away from it all and recharge my batteries, great stress reliever. I feel at home in the woods. 👍⛺🔥

Great vid colin the one good thing about beans is it saves on buying bubble bath lol🏴🏴🏴😆👍❤

I read once that Sawney may have invented Haggis. That he had all these stomachs laying around and thought "hey I should put something in here that's good". So he put some lips and bungs and some green stuff he found along the trail and created what we now call Haggis. Sounds plausible- Thanks for the video. It looks like it was a beautiful day.
Hope not, I like Haggis🤣. Yeah weather was great Ralph, nice location 👍🏴🏕👌
@@Colinrussellscottishwildcamper I've got a hunch I might like Haggis if I ever got a chance to try it.

Hi Colin , what a cracking spot to camp , as you say it’s so tranquil, you want to know what makes people go camping in places like that , you got it spot on , little noise pollution and being away in your own company, like getting away on my bike with a tent and a few utensils and a few ciders , cheers , Mitch
Aye Mitch, great location. Pure peace and quiet. Something to eat, couple of ciders, all good, atb👍🏕🏴👌

A was making a brew and missed u saying u got hit with pigeon , rewound the vid to where a seen , heard u saying it .
Yeah last time I was there for hit face in by a pigeon halfway into the cave, nearly had a heart attack
What size a pack you carry Colin?
Depends how far I'm going and what I'm carrying. Lightweight I use my Osprey 58ltr. This video I had the Osprey 105.👍🏕🏴👌
Awright a suppose wif aw that Weston's and yer vino calypso,av went down to a 48 when doing summit camps 10kg which is pretty good weight wise, reasons for camping always loved it since a was a kid, plus a work with the public in and outta houses fitting carpets can be tiring
@@user-ed2ho1tx6c Aye if I was summit camping I defo wouldn't take the 105, the 58 is more than enough, my 2 mates have the 48
@@Colinrussellscottishwildcamper the only probs with a 48 is yay canny get yer goodies in mate
😆
