Almost 100k subs Nick, epic! You've come a heck of a long ways in the past year. Congrats.
Thank you, Gabriel, that means a lot coming from you, appreciate it. It's been a long and fulfilling journey so far!

Such an Amazing Video Nick. That main shot of AZERBAIJAN at the beginning of the video just gives me chill. You're doing an excellent job and so glad you're experiencing the world as it is. Can't wait to host you here in America one day in the future! Cheers!
Thank you, Sam! Catch you in the U.S. one day!
I am from Azerbaijan and very pleased that you like our city!
SpiritOfDeath will visit soon🤟🏻
Welcome. Was disappointed last time you paid a visit to Georgia & Armenia but not Azerbaijan. Happy to see you here:) Accommodation is pricier probably coz airbnb is stil largelyl unknown here and oriented towards foreigner customers. Renting a flat for a day otherwise costs around $20-25. Also, Baku is the capital, the largest city (metropolitan population is 4 million indeed), much bigger than Astana & Aktau; therefore, the accommodation is pricier. A lot of hostels & hotels are available though.
Thanks for the welcome and information mate!
Nick does sometimes stay in hostels, however, when your vlogging as much as he does, there is little or no privacy to do what he needs to do, recording videos like this one or editing at 3 in the morning. Most of his accommodation is not much more expensive than a hostel, in fact, its often cheaper 4:57 explains it all.
Maybe he does? who knows ...haha
hi, Could you help finding a good apartment of two b.rooms in Baku, that is nice and near to required facilities. regards
Why azerbaijan hate armenia?
Welcome to our country bro
Thanks ❤️

Awesome content once again! You're such a great inspiration for my channel. Keep it up bro :)
Cheers, mate, all the best!
Great job. Thank you for your video. Happy to see you have had good time in Azerbaijan.
20¢ for carrots? What was it? a dollar for spinach? Good prices. Since I eat well, even when I eat cheaply, I'd be happy in Baku. Never seriously considered Azerbaijan but I'd thought about it. $30 per night is good for that. Thanks. Now we know.
Waaay less than a dollar for spinach. Overall great value here. Cheers!
Welcome 🙏🏽 🇦🇿
Those groceries look so delicious! Congrats on almost 100k subs!
EEEK! Its nice to see people enjoy my country ❤️ 💕
Everyone is always welcome here 💕 🇦🇿 🇦🇿 🇦🇿 💕

LOVE the fresh produce. and love how they tie it with plant matter and that the roots are attached. ALSO love the Moroccan-inspired bathroom sink, which brings memories also of the fabulous produce in Fes and the High Atlas...
Cheers, all true!
yess restaurant videos would be fun :)
In the future!
Very positive and objective video !
Thank You very much !!!
happy ramadan
Thanks!
Have a safe journey from me in Atyrau, Kazakhstan! Enjoy Baku. I've never been there but I have been to Tbilisi, Georgia.
yeah! Specially the hotel rooms in the best hotels. I was amazed how cheap and affordable it was! wow! Its a must of coming back.
An amazing place to visit near BAKU is "Ateshgah of Baku" - fire temple of Baku. I was there once as a child and it still comes back to my mind at times.
You're lucky you get to travel all these great places man. I only travelled to one country, which is El Salvador😌
Super interesting destination.
I agree :)
So, what's your travel plans for the longer run?
I'd love to see some videos from the Baltic countries, maybe some of the former Yugoslavian countries such as Serbia, Albania and Slovenia, but also Romania, Moldova or Bulgaria. Morocco also seems like an interesting spot.
I am from Sweden myself, and It's nice. Lovely during summer, unbearable during winter.
Quite pricy though, but nothing compared to Norway.
Cheers!
Sabahaniz xeyr :)
Bro your editing is so good🖒🖒🖒
Thanks!
Where the magic isn't happening 😂😂😂
I really like the videos about prices to get a sense how a destination fits into my personal budget
Nice concept
Thanks!
I'm watching everywhere and heard all those good thing's around... Peace..
You are such a good cook:))

I'm not a Azeri, but this video is awesome. Azerbaijan this beautiful country :)

actually Baku is the most expensive city of Azerbaijan, you can buy even a house in any other city of Azerbaijan for cheaper price than any apartment at Baku
grandma house 😸 cool!
Love youu brother ❤❤😗😗
Cheers mate!
Great Video.
Once I heal from my ankle surgery (complete ankle replacement) the wife & I want to explore all the "Stan" countries but also Azerbaijan since I've seen your trip. Insha'Allah we can take a cargo ship as well. Stay safe 7bibi

U lived in front of my university 😍
Bəxtin gətirib
İt is cheap for u but not for ordinary azeri citizen which gets paid 150manat(70 usd approximately) for a month
I went there😍hello from lebanon
Hey hey!
Indigo Traveller you have a really great content keep the good work👌
00:38 my university 😊
Nothing cheap. The average monthly wage is 306 USA dollars. Just try to live for three hundreds in Baku and you’ll understand nothing cheap in here
0,60 $ - 1 manat ? I can say this is strong currency .
Do you typically drink tap water in the countries that you visit or stick to bottled water?
Depends on the country
What are the vegetarian food options available in baku
welcome you came to Azerbajan
I've stayed in that house as well lmao what a coincidence!
Nick for you it’s everything cheap, you probably serious and rich man))
I loved.
Please come back to Bangladesh and visit more district like Sylhet, Khulna. Rajshahi..we miss you in Bangladesh...
4:35 wow ! would you do? wee in it ? wash in it ? or drink from it? Its beautiful, very bohemian. I would eat and drink everything on the table, apart from the gherkins YUK ! ... I LOVE THESE VIDEOS ... interesting and informative cheers Nick.
According to costing & expenses Azerbaijan seems like Kazakhstan. Within my price range.
Yeah, pretty reasonable, i would say mate!
85.296 views after 6 years and 1.97 millions subscription?
whats that apartment name ?
I love your videos and you
Nick can cook!
Lots of inexpensive, beautiful veggies!! #veggiepower How about carbs, like bread and so on? What’s that situation like there? Are the people there rice people or wheat people? Thanks for all the work on these videos, kiddo. I’ve been thinking about where you were 18 months ago and now you’re doing so well. It’s great. Happy travels and can’t wait to see the countryside! ✌🏼💗👍🏼
Karin B we are wheat people. We always our meals with white bread, even lots of bread. :)
sonasi valiyeva Thanks, Sonasi! That was my guess, but I’m glad to get the facts!
do you use more western style bread or more the traditional naan like variety?
Stanislav Kostarnov, both of them. But, usually in Baku we eat western one. Mostly, in villages people make their traditional bread. When l go to village, my grandma always make her own bread without going any supermarket. :)
Thanks, Karin! And looks like a wealth of knowledge from my Azerbaijan viewers has presented itself so a big thank you to you guys also, cheers!
Busses actually cost 12 cents :)
well done you only said "super" twice on this vid :)
Thanks?
Hotel room par day price in Baku??
Wow nice hotel
Thank you ❤️
i live in Baku ☺️
Is this the cheapest yet? Great vid btw
Not quite, but up there! Thanks!
I bet, all of it organic!
Den Isaak yep, of course
Yeah I agree..Looks a little bit like grandma's hipster apartment
Hahaha Hipster grandma :)
Yep hehe Nothing wrong with that. cool
typical azeri design
yeah, it is kinda soviet design actually, people still can`t get rid of the boring colors
I have a question ! Do you cook all the food you buy ? 😅
Yes I do :)
Hi i am from Azerbaijan. It is cheap for you. Because your monthly salary is higher than us. In our country salary is about 200-400$ now for many people.
Are you kidding ? I would be glad if i would find out a job with salary of 200$ ! It's freaking 95$ for per month, the minimum salary. I'm cassier guy who is paid 120$ per month with 14 hours working a day !
With our mothly salary Azerbaijan is sooooooo expensive! Maybe for you our country is so cheap but for us everything is so so and one more So expensive)
Are you kidding? Yes for European guy it is cheap but for us it is so expensive
Wow, very cool looking money and great deals. Do you keep banknotes from places you visit? I do. Great video.
Thanks! I try to keep banknotes when I can. :) Fun!
Go to Sudan please
ok
Would it also be 'cheap' for the locals? I wonder.
Not trying to be condescending. Genuinely curious.
Most likely not, but hope this video promotes tourism.
Very very nice
They drink beer in azerbaijan??
Cool

Nice video bro
Thanks!
your home is in front of my University
In the states we call spring onions green onions or scallions. You are so far off the grid how do we know manat is really a thing ?
I heard that, K Mac and haha, you will just have to believe me mate!
In the UK and all over Europe, they are knows as Spring Onions, but Americans have to be different I guess.
What are the people of Azerbaijan like? I want to see your travels in this country. You’re not traveling as much as you were in Armenia?
Marika Marika can you please stop?
I have enjoyed my time with the Azerbaijan people a lot :)
Indigo Traveller You’re awesome man, I love how you keep in contact with your viewers!
with the things being so cheap over there i bet the wages a normal person gets is proberbly very crap, not even up to jobseekers allowance rate
💙❤💚
Pleaseee visit Kyrgyzstan 😭
Hey man I wouldn't agree with that. Baku ain't cheap a PS5 here costs 2000 Manats which is somewhere 1,200 bucks but it shall cost 600$. Also it has a restiriction so nothing from the outside to deliver to here more than 300$ because they want so people would buy from here and so they would get more money $$$
you could find cheaper place to spend a night actually
I love English and I want to learn English :D
Hello iz Azerbaijana 🖑
Oh my, those carrots and spinach are so cheap!
Oh yeah!
Я так поняла он вегетарианец?
