ReinardSynth#10 Korg M1r repair: distortion on audio output?

I bought this M1r as “working but with distortion on the audio output”. it turned out to be a missing capacitor on the power supply! It was mounted badly during a previous repair, but I fixed this... After fixing the Power supply I also replaced the green LCD screen with a nice "White on Black" LCD display. I used one from BuyDisplay which can be bought directly from their website:

(Be sure to buy the 5Volt/parallel interface version)
BTW: Any HD44780 based 40x2 should work with the Korg M1 and M1r.
