Haven't actually watched a video of a hunting game in so long.. holy smokes what a trophy and dang bro - That quality has come a long way from back in the days, by far the best I have ever seen from you, music on point and just really good storytelling and really well done with the recording job too! I'm impressed man. Still the GOAT of any hunting game!
It would be super cool if way of the Hunter would release a shotgun scope and slugs I grew up deer hunting with a slug gun and it something a lot of games don’t do normally you just aren’t allowed to hunt deer with shotgun’s
Playing on lower ones just makes it possible to get the good footage for content. Unfortunately a small price to pay to increase the quality of a video with close up shots of the trophy while its alive

I am hoping you can explain "So I was correct he was 15 years old" Am I missing something, does the harvest screen show the true age somewhere (thats something Ive always wanted displayed is what the true age ends up being after harvest. Please share how you "knew" how you ended up being correct on guesses for his age?
How do you age the animals do you just leave them alone so they can age or what also I bought dlcs and they won’t work like I can’t equip the weapons can you help with that to
How do you know how old the animal is? Like I'm trying to figure out how the time and aging works in this game. I can't really figure out how long it takes for something to age, and does sleeping repeatedly helps with time progression?
I ran over a 5 star badger😭 and found a 2 star adult mule deer that I wanted to save, tried to shoot the 1 star next to him, ended up hitting the 2 star turned out he had 92% genes. fml!
*Edit - I wrote the main comment here before actually watching the kill and now I’m even more confused because after thinking maybe this game is cool compared to what I’d heard but then watching the kill it seems very strange , the moose walks up right infront of him, can obviously see him with bow and just doesn’t care .surely that’s very very unrealistic.* Wait , he’s aged , we’ve watched him over years (I know it’s obviously games years) and I seen comments about it being “public land” what’s all this , is this how deep this game is , I really need to look into this game now , I just had been under the impression it was a nice graphics but poor gameplay game compared to call of the wild. However from reading these comments and what I’ve heard from flinter this sounds kind of amazing
@@Anthonys_S I enjoy playing both COTW & WOTH. They are very different games so can't really be compared. WOTH is slower paced & more of a sim which I prefer while COTW is faster paced & arcade style. Both have their pros & cons. I hope that is helpful.

there’s different difficulties if you play on the 2 hardest ones you can’t do that

Overall the game is quite realistic but the calling mechanics could certainly use some work.
