I took this train once (while traveled around the EU)
...got off in Venice...and did not even care to see the city...
I did the same thing years ago...
So i visited Venice railway station twice but never seen the City...
    Maybe next year...

Fun fact Italy is one of the few country that paint the rail in white to prevent heat deformation in hot summer

300 km/h can be reached only for 58 km from Treviglio ( where the dedicated high speed line begins ) to Brescia ( updated july 2023 , where the high speed line ends ) . New high speed line is under construction from Brescia to Padova ( with commercial speed up to 250 km/h ) . Italo operates on this track using trains capable of speed up to 250 km/h ( Alstom Etr 675 ) . Rarely you can find Italo Etr 575 ( faster , can run up to 300 km/h , normally moving from Milan to Salerno high speed line ). Trenitalia has 4 different HS trains running on this track : Frecciarossa ETR 600 tilting train best known as PENDOLINO ( service speed up to 250 km/h ) ETR 700 ( service speed up to 250 km/h ) ETR 500 FRECCIAROSSA ( service speed up to 300 km/h ) and the latest arrival ETR 1000 FRECCIAROSSA ( service speed up to 300 km/h ). The main difference between Italo and Frecciarossa ? First one doesn' t have a bar service onboard but only vending machines

At 10:38 it’s my house !! BTW you were lucky to catch the original Italo train, which is faster. Nowadays almost all the Italo trains between Venice and Milan are operated with the “Italo EVO” train set, which is slower and more cramped

Poor editing ,if you are going to include the on board announcements more than once surely don’t include the Italian version several times😢 ,but include the English one at least once.

AT 9:46 you aren't near the soave hills, you would have been the nearest to them when passing San Bonifacio station, and you could have even captured the castle there just after passing the station.

Thank you for this travelogue. A little more detail about the on-board train facilities, ticket pricing, journey time and punctuality would have been useful. By-the-way, you never said what that strange Peanut-butter snack was like, with its weird colour. Oh for the days when FS used to provide a real Restaurant Car on most of the Venice-Milano trains. Anyway, thanks again and happy travels.

As an American, I can address that point. The orange crackers (biscuits) are cheese flavour. My mother loves the peanut butter filling combination, but I suspect it's an acquired taste (like root beer).

Of course it's pronounced differently in different languages, and someone would shorten it like "key", "k" "click" or something like that, but it's ALWAYS written as "Km/h" or "km/h".
Writing "kmh" instead of km/h is like writing "mh" instead of mph.
