Let me share you a small information from my experience, i hope it helps, Play a lot of football, play accordingly with ur fitness level, i mean if you're not fit, you're gonna struggle to run past the defenders so the better choice is to pass asap, look around before you receive the ball, beware of your surroundings, do your best and don't care much even if they yell at you, try to not lose the ball, and always remember if anyone has to believe in you, you have to believe in yourself first and of course how to call for pass, just wave your hands and yell at them too😂 #always keep the opponent and the ball in front of you to have a better control
Make good runs. Good players will pass to you at the right times, others will get tunnel vision and try to do it all themselves or use your run as a decoy for themselves. Nobody will pass to you if you shout when you are surrounded. Do this once and you will sutely get ognored in future. Calling for the ball mostly depends on your position on the pitch in relation to the opponents and the team-mate in control of the ball. Making passes easier for them to make will result in you getting the ball more often. As far as confidence goes, if you call for the ball in moments where it would be beneficial for your team to have the ball in their control, then this should give you the confidence to shout for it in the first place. So, good positioning leads to an easier pass for your team-mate to make, giving you more chance of receiving the ball and it builds up a rapport/understanding (aka teamwork) as in future they associate you shouting for the ball with you being in a better position than they currently are, meaning you will gain confidence knowing others trist you.
As a fullback this is almost essential these days. I'm a fullback and I nutmeg wingers alot. By far the best way to get around an attacker so you can play your forwards through
I like to see more defensive stuffs, like, against nutmeg, against tiki taka, against counter attack, etc. Combination between practical playing and tactical thinking.

I agree with everything but the “passing through the defenders legs” that looks soo unsafe and against someone with fast reactions it might spell counter attack. I mean if ur skilled enough go ahead or if the defender is ass but I don’t think that’s something I’ll try often in a game🤷♂️
I'd say if you make it to the endline, and are looking to cross, you can fake a cutback pass and hit a low cross through the legs of defenders easy. But yeah depends on the situation. Probably don't want to attempt a pass through the legs near your own goal lol.

Hey a scoop turn is a good idea too. And you can roll back directly by control it in front of you, so defenders will trying to get the ball block them with your hand, when they trying to get the ball with their leg, just roll it back or you can do it when you are running and there is a defender chasing behind you slow down they will slow down to, and they will open their legs widely so you can roll it back.

Bounce-Off Meg: When the defenders legs are wide or seldom open, use one of their feet to bounce the ball off and go around the defender to catch it. (This is a pretty hard trick to get it right) (I've tried this in a match and my coach gasped as I saw him on the side path.
