A resin brake is so important for larger or thicker layups. I messed up a 15 layer layup a few months back due to not letting the resin soak through the brake. Great video!

I’ll be creating a rear E423 profile foam core wing for my ‘92 Subaru Legacy Sport and wasn’t sure if creating CF uprights vs. aluminum would be worth adding to the mix. This shows 100% that it is and can be done as easily as making the wing end plates. 👍🏻👍🏻

Any reason not to vacuum bag the bonding step? Not needed or is the consumable cost not worth the added bonding pressure?
Matt B it’s much quicker and easier to get sufficient clamping force for an easy bonding step.
Awesome work man! What brand of resin do you use and do you put a UV protection on your parts?
Sean mcclain we use Rhino Linings currently. And some of our stuff is UV protected and some isn’t. Depends on the part.
