I can’t believe Normani wasn’t going to have a solo verse in this song, so I’m glad they went with the other version. I think Camila’s voice is beautiful singing Normani’s verse but there’s just something about Normani singing it that gives the song that ambiance we all love. On another note, I wish they kept Camila’s ad-libs/repetition of words when it came to Ally’s part at 1:28. I miss my girls! 😞

Wow! Normani kept lucking out catching solos in the final cuts of some of these songs. She should’ve shared her secret with Dinah and Ally lol. I like Dinah’s version of the first verse better than Normani’s but I like Normani’s version of the second verse better than Camila’s.
There’s another voice in the background at 3:11-3:12 that sounds like Normani but I’m not sure if it’s her or just another layer of Ally.

I wonder if it was between all again and no way… they’re kind of similar in the sense that Normani wasn’t going to have a verse in either song, Lauren leads and they’re both really good ballads and I think the only ballads we got besides 1000 hands? I could be wrong tho obviously

Normani may have been stuck with background harmonies in the demo version (heck, her lead vocals to her original parts are barely audible), but they stand out way more than the original version of No Way where she was barely audible in the song at all.
