    for any novice repair technicians I would recommend a full frame swap as it makes this repair MUCH easier (and is actually how Samsung repairs their devices).

      And durable too

      Full frame swap is the best way. If you do not clean the screen adhesive perfectly, you are likely to damage the OLED panel and end up with pink and green lines.

      What's a full frame swap? Thank you :)

      @@kevinhutcheson2660 hey bro, question, is too much difference between Oled replacement instead of the original super amoled screen??
      I need to buy a replacement for the S21 plus and is Cheap the oled opción. But I'm not sure.

    Do a teardown on the NZXT Capsule. It would be awesome to see what's replaceable.

    Remember to disconnect the battery every time you mess with the display ribbon because I accidentally shorted it while testing the replacement screen. Thankfully despite the smoke and burnt smell it still works just fine lol

    So if I order it doesn’t this come with the frame ?

    After applying the new stickers does the phone still have water resistance?

    • @dead_head
      @dead_head Před 7 měsíci +1

      I read somewhere that after the phone is opened for the first time it loses most of its water resistance but that might just be a scare tactic

    Why would you consider this way when samsung provides original screens with frame to resellers?

    • @larrytraber

      The frame isn't original from most sellers

    I love that battery should not be removed. It so difficult to do it on Samsung phones

    • @n0cturn2l
      @n0cturn2l Před 2 lety +3

      Put the phone with the scren facing down on the heat pad for 5 minutes and it will be easy to remove it, if u dont have a heat pad use isopropyl alcohol and wait a few minutes before pulling the battery out

    • @hakeem4870
      @hakeem4870 Před 8 měsíci +1

      The phone turned off does not mean the battery doesn’t have energy. One wrong touch and you could accidentally create a short circuit between the battery, tweezer and motherboard, and fry your phone
