☺They usually do not have baking powder in them.
This one os just regular all purpose flour ( without baking powder)
Okay tnx
This looks yummy but i'm freaking out how much fatter I will get just by watching. Great video as always.
Nice need some curry mango with that👍
Mango?????
Do you know how to make that rice flour grain thingy they put on the parsad😁 I don't know how to make it
It is called Panjiri, it can be made with regular flour too ,actually we did a recipe for it but have not posted it to the channel as yet. Maybe I will post Sunday.
And if you don't mind, could I see you and Aunty face one day in a video, maybe like couple seconds, Thank you.
Maybe Rakesh, have to see😀😀😀😀
Can you substitute the ghee with butter?
You can use vegetable cooking oil.
I notice that U did not add baking power ? Or yeast ? Is there s reason why ..or it left out ?
Baking powder and yeast are not used in this recipe, this is how it is made. It is meant to be thin and solid, usually eaten with some prasad or rice pudding wrapped inside.
The ghee makes it tasty and keeps it soft as well.
hey
Thanks for all of your recipes. can this dough be fried in canola oil instead of ghee do not fancy the taste of ghee.
Hi Rahman, we have never done it with cooking oil, the Ghee keeps it soft. and it is the way it should be done.
My guess is that with the Canola oil it will be stiff, but you can try it and see how it is.😊
Let us know if you do, thanks😊
This looks very similar to crepes.
No baking powder
Can I use oil to fry ?
Yes but it will not be soft. The ghee makes it soft.
Can you guys do pine tart please, thank you! Xo
🙂Sure Pam asap.
how to make roath for Hangman Jandhi

How much do you get with that amount of flour??
Approx. 15
Can I use margarine instead of ghee?
Yes you can, but it may not be as soft.
Is it butter ghee or normal ghee
@@cookiepillay9068 It is the usual ghee you find in the stores.
Thank you dear god bless
Must make some muslim sirrne
Will do.
How many puri does this mixture make?
It makes about 30 puri.
@@RealNiceGuyana thank you very much. Will be using this recipe for my son's Muran
@@shivaniearjune8098 You're welcome.
We almost never use all purpose white flour in India. We always use whole wheat flour. In North India, only for chhole (chana) or kulcha naan, they use all purpose flour. But the latter is considered unhealthy
Yes it is but it is popular in many places. I think it is called Maida.
@@RealNiceGuyana Yes, maida. Except for a couple of recipes, in India we rarely use maida now. People prefer to use whole wheat flour, which is more healthy.
Yes correct.

How's this puri? I see no pease. N I didn't see baking powder added
This Puri is a different one usually made for religious functions, weddings 💑 etc.
please explain why it's called puri without peas in it
There are several different kinds of Puri, there are ones that can be filled like the Dhal Puri and then there are those like the Wedding house puri which is not. 🙂
The Wedding house Puri, even though it is not filled with anything before frying, is intended to be (after frying) filled with lapsi, prasad etc, 🙂
Real Nice Guyana thanks for your explanation even though i do not know what lapsi is but i do know what is Prasad but i think i understand dont get me wrong im a born Guyanese and i love all your videos
Real Nice Guyana Dont forget the eddoe leaf video
Thanks🙂
Don't worry, that's coming up shortly ( warning!!!! you are going to drool when you see it.)🙂🙂
Can you guys do rotte. (I'm not sure of the spelling) the hard roti thing from jhandi.
🙂Rote has to be made on an auspicious time only ( religious ), as soon as the opportunity comes along, we will.
Can I fry the puri with cooking oil instead of ghee?
Yes you can but it will be hard, the ghee keeps it soft.
@@RealNiceGuyana OK Thank you 😊 Have a blessed day 🙏
@@RealNiceGuyana hi I tried this recipe yesterday n it turns out really good n delicious. Thank you.❤
Happy to hear , thank you so much for sharing❤
Y dont we see ur face

How many Puri did you get with the 2 cups of flour?
Approx. 40
Omg nooooo!
Forty Puri with 2 measuring cups of flour?
I only have to make 12-14 lol thank you.
Why don't you wear gloves when mixing the dough and the lapsi mixture.. doesn't the metal comes off when scraping the pot with metal spoon turning the boiling lapsi mixture ? Try using a wooden spoon ..!!!
Do you wear gloves to cook ?
They are just kind enough to show us how to make it, just for themselves to eat. When u make urs, you put ur gloves on. Thanks for the recipe guys.
