This just happened to me right now and I panicked for real! But I could solve. I reformated the SD Card, copied the latest firmware and accessed the menu clicking where I remember the firmware update option was. Thankfully it worked and now it's back to normal.

Same thing happened to me. I had to do a deep format of the card (on an emulated Windows partition on my Mac), copy over the file, and then I had to try and remember the menu structure to do the format again. Thankfully, it worked.
This happened to me! Have you got a link to the older firmware file needed to downgrade?
Had the same problem. Took me a few hours to fix it. I wasn't at all sure of the outcome, but kept trying and finally it worked. Phew...
Was this with the latest firmware? Same thing has happened to me..

O meu deu este problema na hora que atualizei, aí formatei meu memória Sd para NTFS e conseguir atualizar denovo. Só clicar duas vezes no menu para ir direto nas configurações e clicar no segunda debaixo pra cima que vai direto na atualização. aparecer o menu .

@@RibbonGuy Mine had this problem when I updated, then I formatted my SD memory for NTFS and was able to update again. Just double click on the menu to go straight to the settings and click on the second one from the bottom up which goes straight to the update. the menu appears.

@@ATreeForFive so, I just was able to "blindly" navigate through the menu using a tutorial video on how to install the firmware, and after I reinstalled the firmware, it was back working again

Tu devras reformarter ta carte SD et y installer la MàJ ensuite tu devras naviguer à l'aveugle pour lancer la nouvelle mise à jour. Je te conseille de regarder un tuto vidéo qui montre le menu en état de marche normal et de suivre le même cheminement sur le tien pour le débloquer.
