I don't know how you aren't getting more views, but just know there's people like me out there that are learning so much from you! Thank you!
I'm so glad man! I'm just trying to help :) And the view count is going up and up progressively so hopefully one day we'll see it where we want it ;)
Hey man, I left a comment on this video almost 3 years ago now, and I still come back to it sometimes because this is honestly one of if not the best just straight up guides out there. The layers u made in this video are incredible and I use it to brainstorm all the time. Just thought I'd let you know that something you made 3 years ago is still having an impact on me now.
This is the most helpful video I've watched in months. I copied everything you did along with the video which helped me a ton
I'm glad! If you've got any questions ever just let me know and I'll try and answer! :D
Totally agree
"I just found out that there's, like, an OTT preset on the Multiband for ableton"
The OTT plugin was literally created to replicate that preset from Ableton
AHHH yessss more melodiccccc
Yesssssssssssssssssssssss and I already filmed #2 and it gets pretty really good to me personally ;)
stop teasing me I want to hear it;))
Bro literally putting the limiter on the master solved all my life issues. this is the best tutorial and most informational video ive seen so far lol.
These tutorials really help me a lot man... Please don't stop❤️
I just found this channel and i'm glad YT recommended me this, keep it up!
Thanks so much! Hope you keep liking the stuff!
Great video! Literally learned so much from this!
Your sooo good. Love the sound. I have to make more of this stuff but have hardcore dubstep in it because I like hardcore dubstep and also chopped vocals
This is awesome!! Hope to be that knowledgeable in a few years..just started learning Ableton a week ago..very inspiring!!
Awesome video man! I'm new to production and i think you can imagine how my face looks seeing serum for the first time 😧
awesome video about half way through but really enjoying ittt!!!! thanks
Thanks man! :D
This is awesome
Awesome!
you saved me ur the best youtube out there
I love these videos 👌
Super glad you like them!
Wow thankyou, I learnt so much. That high pitched lead at the end really bought the track to life. Subscribed. The thing that worries me though is the fact that you were always searching for the sound in your head for the particular part. I have no such "talent".
Yeah that bothers me too, hearing parts and sounds in your head and bringing it to life is something that takes a while to get to and I just don't know how to describe what I'm thinking. It definitely gets easier with practice but I understand it can be frustrating to not get it explained 100% :(
Thank you
Might sound silly or trivial, but try adding the word 'tutorial' to your video post titles. You've got great content, you're talented and you explain things well. You should have more views!
I try to put "Making a --" or whatever as often as possible. Ill try putting tutorial in there though and see what happens, thanks for the insight!! :D
nice tutorial for beginners !! ; )
“Anyone who actually uses massive is gonna laugh at me”
Lmao I imagine that every time I tweak anything ever.
I had the same issue with the automatic fades. If you go to Preferences > Record Warp Launch and then unselect "Create Fades on Clip Edges" it will stop doing this. I was wondering where all my transients went. Not sure why Ableton decided to make this default. Really damn good tutorial by the way!
nice job
Hey man sounds awesome! Just wondering where you get all your drums or that BreakTweaker pack
nice !
good job. where did you get the breaktweaker sample pack?
cool
I'm new to music production, is there a way where I can download dubstep drum packs?
What did you do with the unison settings at 7:40? I'm kinda new to Serum. Thanks!
Im sorry im not ryan but what it looks like he did was he went to the global tab and set the matrix from linear to super.
How do you get the dark background? It looks way better than grey TBH
helpful
can you just buy an individual splice pack from an artist? or do u have to pay monthly/annually?
Amazing tutorial, just saved into my playlist. One question: how did you do to use the Harmor on Live?
You can purchase Harmor
how do you get the break tweeter sample pack
Yo can u do just a classic dubstep? this videos are gold hands down bro
I can try for sure! I've been swamped with work as of late so I haven't been able to upload as much as I want!
what does the TAP button do at the begining of the vid.
Where did you get the au5 samples?
where do i get your Breaktweaker or Au5 Packs?
dem layerz tho
Nice vid man! What was the keyboard shortcut you used to automate in those fades on the kick at 1:23?
That was how Live 9 handled fades, they’re always there in 10 now and I prefer that!
Pretty sure it was Ctrl Alt F though
Could someone explain the part about audio effect rack to me again please I can’t understand what’s going on there
pens2009champs you can watch a Zen World’s video on youtube about it. It’s titled: “Utilizing the audio effect rack for a cleaner mix” I think
Dude you’re blowing my fucking ears up with that click track. Other than that great video.
this is awesome. Im new to producing, whats that serum thingy hes using? not sure how plug ins work yet
Hey man! A plugin is something that "plugs into" your DAW so you can have more features/tools than what it originally came with. Serum is arguably one of the best synth plugins on the market and I use it for about everything!
Sorry for a nooby question but do you use serum because it’s just more in depth or is there no other way to generate those synthy sounds directly from abelton?
There's tons of ways to make the sounds! Most synths are capable of getting close to the exact same sounds it's just about the workflow/layout/etc. I just happen to like Serum the best!!
hey mate, amazing tutorial! Where could I get the breaktweaker samples you use? Thanks
I get most of mine from splice!
@@RyanDevenney what do i search to get those on splice?!
I’ve gotten so many from so many different packs it’d be super hard to say where specifically hahaha. I do love the Medasin packs though!
Hey Ryan - I'm just learning production and was wondering if you could help me understand why you: A) Used 128bpm instead of 140 -160 half time? ...and B) Used the side-chain instead of LFOTool for the tremolo effect?
Hey man! Answer to both is just personal taste really, I just go with whatever I'm feeling at the time!
@@RyanDevenney awesome thanks!
new sub! Hope we make a collab someday
Do you have the project file so we can go along with the video? This would be so helpful.
Hey man! Unfortunately I can't, the samples I use aren't created by me so I don't have the rights to share them. Sorry about that!
Ryan Devenney No worries. I understand
Have you given Crywolf a listen? He is crazy unique and inspiring. He’s also collabed with Eden!
Absolutely! I love crywolf's stuff
What Artist radio did you listen to?
Illenium probably!
you listened to EDEN?! and made this?! omggggg
😁
learn how to use ableton wavetable guuys, its literaly a free serum
1:23 how he do that? on windows
Just drag the sample to audio bro
1:14. I know. I swear, sub frequencies don’t have a peak to him. He can just turn them up forever without interference or distortion. Like, listen to his Reece metallic growls…like. Even if you know how to make em…tryna fit a sub along side it, even if you cut the frequencies out of everything, track space everything to the point that it lacks a soul, and soft clip to the point or ear rape…than eq cut again. The fffukign sub just ain’t au5 tier. Like, for all you FL users. Listen to a demo song. Than drag an au5 song into that project and compare by muting the master. Au5 makes those tracks sound like geometry dash. It’s brutal.
Can you give me some tips on making chords?
Do you mean making chords like choosing the notes or like making the synth sounds?
Making the synth sounds. thank you
Look into making super saws with your synth on youtube. They'll do a much better job explaining than I can through type but those are a great way to get started with chords!
Thanks
Isso não é future bass
Who are here cuz want to exit FL studio?
