- As part of our training conference for new student orientation volunteers at BYU-Idaho, we showed some inspirational video clips. While serving as I-Team Director, we felt the need to update our videos with photos and other clips of current students, rather than the students long-since graduated that had been featured for the past two years. We began a massive overhaul of all training materials. In that process, I woke up one morning with this video in my mind's eye. I could see the photos, video clips, and music all synched together. It was divinely inspired. I presented the video concept. This was an amateur attempt. Since then, the university's professional photographers and video editing team have recreated this video, based on my original concept. The photo credits belong to BYU-Idaho Get Prepared Office. The blank screen in the middle is where participants then passed around lanterns and "shared the light."

My car stereo volume doesn't go up enough to do this song proper justice. I start out at normal volume but love it so much it keeps getting pumped up until the end when it's going full blast with me crying and singing at the top of my lungs - Every.Single.Time! Thank you so much for the upload and to Katie for the amazing talent and spirit.

I listen to this song for motivation, or when I feel down. I cry every time. I don't mean two or two tears, I mean tears streaming down my face. As somebody like myself where I suffer from depression, this song enables emotional release for me. And I will forever be grateful that (1) the song was ever written and (b) that for me to release sometimes all I have to do is listen to such a positive message!
