Covid just hit, got laid off, found me a new job at the local ingles. I took a major pay cut and was very worried about how I was going to pay all the bills. Thankfully this song came along and eased my mind. Thanks vacations for the wonderful music. Fast forward several years.. I now have a much better job on a farm and I found the love of my life. Funny how life throws you curve balls. Guess it’s all about how you handle it and rise from the ashes.

This song takes me back to that time between the start of april and the first day of college. I lived out my senior year and graduated, went to prom with the woman i loved and just had a good day every day. I listened to Vacations pretty much every day so that’s probably why i feel this way. It's the first time I've heard this song, but it's so pleasant and takes me back to a time when I didn't have any problems and I didn't even think about anything bad. you may think it's strange, but I have a couple of things that make me cry, either from happiness or sadness. they may mean nothing to me, but they give me comfort and create nostalgia.

Im here to say, this song was my comfort song throughout the time of my first breakup which was in May (a day after my birthday too) i pretty much cried to this song everytime, and started to comfort myself with this song. I felt hella depressed and suicidal in that time span. Then i decided that ill change and improve myself for the better, and my own family. I exercise, make beats, and draw art because those are what i like to do. And in 2 months, i found a new girlfriend, and i started to become happier and started to realize that my self improvement worked. I feel better mentally, and physically. I am the hppiest ive ever been and its all cuz of me deciding to comfort myself with this song. My ex tried crawling back a month ago, only for me to reject her. She tried blowing shots to my music and saying rude stuff, but it only motivated me and now i make stuff for youtube and soundcloud. I am truly grateful for being given a second chance at life and actually striving for my own greatness.
