Great reaction. This is an incredible song. Jake Muller already said about how it had only been played one time live and the pro-shot video from that performance was never released. All we had to go on were the fancam videos from that performance or the studio audio ... until now, finally they performed it again at two of the 10 Budokan shows, so we have this video from there and can see and hear just how beautiful this song really is.
'From Dusk Till Dawn' was an exclusive track on the international release of the second album, the Japanese edition had a very different but equally great song called 'Syncopation'. I don't think you have seen that yet, it would make for a very good reaction next time ... and I suspect you won't be expecting what you hear and it will blow you away .... again.🤘🦊🤘
this is where a song shows how good Babymetal is. vocals. production. music. effects. etc. also you can see there is no box to put them in since they do so many different styles and are still good at all of them. Babymetal is an experience live. i have seen them live and heard Su's voice so i know how good she is. i want to see them at a big show in Japan because that would be wild.

This is a long time waited proshot version for the fans, song was pushed to be performed again after many years and being played only one time at Hollywood Paladium in 2017 while on US tour when YuiMetal was still in the group, sadly for copyright disputes that proshot version never saw the light and we only have fancams of that.
Thankfully they performed this last year at 10 Babymetal Years Budokan, and surprised everyone with this astonishing and beautiful production.
Also the English lyrics is a little bit more clear but we ain't got official lyrics to know if what MoaMetal sings and make you laugh is the right lyric, we might guess is right because she's covering one eye with one hand.

Another thing, this song was from 2nd album and is part of International album version, while Japanese version got another exclusive track called _"Syncopation"_ another banger one you need to watch it too.

I was at the Palladium in Hollywood for the world premiere of this song, back in 2017.
Would have loved to see one of the two Budokan 2021 performances.
They took it to a new level. It's kind of amazing that this song has only been performed live three times.
It was included on the international edition of the second album, 'Metal Resistance'.
The domestic (Japanese) edition had 'Syncopation' instead.
That's a song that is also very much worth checking out.
excellent content Minkoy-Metal, it's a hidden gem in plain sight many people have turned a "blind eye" to the greatness of BABYMETAL, before you go and try to find other bands, maybe take a moment to checkout "Kagerou" with the Kami band intro from Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 and prepare to be blown away again, ha ha BABYMETAL rules!!
"No Rain No Rainbow" and "From Dusk Till Dawn" are both beautiful, but in different ways. BabyMetal is not just one or two talented people but a team of talented people. In the BabyMetal world, we enjoy one unexpected performance after another.

I have only heard this song a couple times, but you have to remember not all words translate properly to English. You centered on "Blind Eye" if you look online there are several different translations for this. First one I pulled up mentioned.

The style here is called dream trance... combined with metal, of course. And the song is a rarity and also has a weird history as you are already told about.
Did we ever mentioned "expect the unexpected"? I know I'm here because I'm totally biassed by Su performing skills, BUT all the rest is at her level: the overall production of live performances, the songs quality, the Kami Band, Moa (of course), the Avengers (and Yui at the time) etc. Someone criticized them because they were "too perfect". Okay, I embrace perfection and i can't help it :)
I second the suggestion for "Syncopation"
"Blind Eye" is in reference to "turning a blind eye" to what's going on around you. Don't focus on the negativity around you.
FDTD for me is an artistry masterpiece. The mixing of this song together with Su-Metal synthesised vocals create a twilight zone atmosphere like it's coming from outer space 🚀. "FDTD" is exclusively available for the International audience and the Japanese audience got "Syncopation".

The fight the fandom had to put up to get this song played live was incredible. This is only the second time the songs has ever been played live, and the first time the footage never got released for some reason. Copyright issues with the venue or some other crap like that. So, in 2020 when the band set up a vote for the top 10 Babymetal songs that would be included on a 10 year anniversary CD and a DVD compilation of all 10 of the songs live shows the fans organized to get FDTD voted in, which wasn't easy considering the competition, but we did it. Then it was announced that due to the copyright issues I mentioned FDTD would not be included on the DVD. Luckily though, the song was later performed twice at the 10 Budokan shows they did in 2021 so we got this video.
It is an incredible piece of music!
You may be more surprised when you reach Sakura one day. You might want to save that for later, though.
I love Sakuragakuin as much as I love BabyMetal. And when you do, I also recommend 中元すず香「明日への扉」, one of my favourite songs by Sumetal.
I never would have reached SG if it weren’t for BM, but I’m here love it. To be honest it’s different from what I’ve listened too, but the deeper down the Fox Hole, the more everyone will appreciate the music. Love SG and love BM. 👍🔥🔥🦊
I think it has something to do with Japanese culture..almost Samurai-like. They wake up prepared to dedicate themselves to learn a skill all day, so they can be of benefit

I know , many ppl say "its a compilation crap! React budokan version!"
BUT. This version WAY WAY MORE POWERFUL. Better voice, much better sound (Budokan 2014 sound very bad)
And there only compilation from two concerts. Both dark side. So its relatively good compilation.
And its much much more blowing compare to Budokan 2014.

this is best Akatsuki version (for my taste). Even better than Budokan 2021. Last version (2021) sound good.. but less dynamic.. and no musicians in video.
This song has been out for a while, but this is like only the second time it was ever performed.... When my friend first heard this song, I had to point out that the high pitched sound he was hearing, was actually the singers voice. Great thing about this version (aside from ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING), is that it has settled the long time debate as to the lyrics...Yeah, the lyrics were very ambigious in their first performance, because the earlier recordings sucked, no official lyrics were ever posted, so really no one knew what the lyrics were.... And people really wanted to know because its one of the few English only songs. But with the new performance, better recording, and Su's english being better, we have a good idea of the lyrics. Was it "in the air" or "in the end".... IN THE END FOR DA WIN!!! .... Do you know any other group that has music with this kind of sound? Asking for reals. 🤘🦊🤘
