*Very easy to set up and use, attractive but be sure you understand the height it's not tall. The heat is not overwhelming, but steady and pleasant **fireplace.homes** It's quiet, too. I like the possibility of easily moving it from room to room in the event we want supplemental heat elsewhere. Definitely a good buy.*

Tom James did you ever find out where to buy a thermocouple like the one in the video?

    Does wind affect fireplace?

In a way yes. As it's the air that is heated around the unit a steady breeze will affect the amount of heat you feel. If you are using outdoor heating in an often very windy location, you want to consider an IR heater (www.jrhome.com/Paramount-Telescopic-Infrared-Patio-Heater-Black) which heats with wave technology and is unaffected by wind. That being said, they are made for outdoor use produce pretty substantial warmth.
