I bought their first album from a Christian Bookstore in ‘98.
I've listened to the "Silence" album over a hundred times. It has aged so well and its amazing every time I listen to it. I really hope someday I'll get to see them perform and listen to it live.
They have been my favorite band since I was 16.. I am now 37. Silence is my favorite album of all time.
Silence is a timeless masterpiece of a rock album
My former band played He Is Legend (we were called Uriah Omen at the time) played with them on their Silence tour when they played Furnace Fest in '02. They have been one of my alltime fav bands since that album and tour. Incredible band.
So in my MP3s from like 2001-2005 I had this one song. No idea where I downloaded it from but it wasn't labelled. I called it "Awesome Mystery Band". Couple years ago I came across that mp3 again, just moving files around/organizing my music and was able to figure it out finally. It was Caught a Glimpse off Silence. Song is still awesome.
I was a fan long before they hit mainstream. Same with chevelle. Mid-late 90s. Blindside opened for Linkin Park in New Orleans. I went to see blindside.
Shekina is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. That’s the blindside I really enjoy.
Blindside is my #1 favorite band. I was lucky enough to see them once in Jackson, MS and they rocked.

I first saw them at the first ever Furnace Fest in '02. I was playing in Uriah Omen (before the name was changed to He Is Legend). We were doing a showcase to get signed at that fest. The other guitarist Adam was like "Walk over here with me and check out this band Blindside." Silence had just came out and I was blown away. I've been a huge fan since. They are playing this year at Furnace Fest as well. I plan to go see them.
