- This is how I restored my leather sofa! Such a simple process to clean and condition real leather. This process puts moisture back into the fabric so it doesn't crack and helps lighten some of those scratches.

Totally agree with this!!! I just got a 1985 Ethan Allen club chair from my parents house. It had tears in the seat and felt like crepe paper! I got a repair kit and some leather honey cleaner and conditioner and I probably went over it 5 times but it is totally worth it! And it is just as luxurious as it was back then!

We have that same sofa from article, i used Leather Honey today and it works incredibly well, both the cleaner and conditioner are awesome. A bit pricey but worth it!

Did you have to keep in mind the type of leather you were working with when it came to using the right cleaner? I've been hesitant about cleaning it with our honey leather cleaner because I'm worried it wouldn't remove the stains. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Do you have a recommendation for a dye for this color Couch? I have the same exact ones and there are a few faded spots. I’m going to try this first and there’s a couple little nail scratches on it from my cats, but they aren’t deeper anything. Hoping this technique works. But would love to see if you have any input on any dives that would match this exact color
Unfortunately I haven’t tried it dye it so I don’t have a recommendation.

Just soap and water
What did you use for the chip stains?
A baking soda paste
How long does it have to dry for? Will it stain your clothes?
I usually let dry a couple hours. No staining!

I have one as well. I’ve never had any issue with them popping out. I know this response is probably late but maybe the information will still be helpful.
