He got probation and was ordered to pay minimal restitution to the victims for the damage to their attic, to replace insulation. He’s also subject to a no contact order. He appealed and won on the issue of being allowed to access his adjoining property without restriction. The trial court on,y allowed him 4 hours/day. So despite the fact it’s never been occupied and has no working utilities he feels compelled to be there all the time🙄🙄 Sounds completely legitimate🙄🤬

Dave noticed one day that the cartridge in his Sega was hot and it was not a game that he left in the console. He worked up the nevre to check the attic. Dave, nor his mom used the attic and had not been into it since they moved in. He then discovered that 4 attics in a row were connected. He pretended to go out one day, but snuck in the back door. He dressed up with a creepy mask and waited for the kid in his room. He scared the life out of the kid haha. But, Dave's mom didn't find it funny. She called the cops when dave told her what he discovered. The kid got a slap on the wrist. They were not allowed to put a wall in the attic becuse it was a protected building. They sealed the attic entrance though, which ruined the neighbour kids adventures with sonic 😂

Huh my ex stalked me for 13 years, he was getting in the roof at night, I could hear the drill undoing the screws to tin roof, I thought it was bees or something it was muffled. So that went on for nearly a year, the police wouldn't believe me! I knew he was getting in but didn't twig that it was the roof then down through the manhole & out the door! Because it was a constant thing, I decided to lay awake all night, then I heard him, getting in, so I had to lay awake for the next 2 nights, till the shops opened to get some locks to put on the manhole. That stopped him getting inside, but he did exactly what this bloke in this video did drilled little holes in the ceiling in the plaster of the roof. I had a 6 mth old baby to keep safe too. So for a whole week my sister & I prayed he would fall off the roof and HE DID it was so funny because he hurt his back & couldn't work, OR climb on roofs any more.🤣

I just googled this case and he was found guilty of criminal trespass, sentenced to 5 years probation and ordered to pay the victims a little more than 2k. What an absolutely ridiculous sentence. The victims had their privacy and sense of security violated and this guy doesn’t do a day in jail? And really, “compensation?” I wouldn’t have accepted a dime from this man because you cannot put a price on someone’s safety and security. Shame on Pittsburgh and sorry to the victims they didn’t get the justice they deserved.

please always check your attics when you move in, it seems really creepy to have to do so, but this is unfortunately more common than people realize :( growing up i’ve lived in multiple homes as a child where my family had come to find out there were squatters living in our attic. it’s a small task with a big pay off safety-wise.

I just googled this case and he was found guilty of criminal trespass, sentenced to 5 years probation and ordered to pay the victims a little more than 2k. What an absolutely ridiculous sentence. The victims had their privacy and sense of security violated and this guy doesn’t do a day in jail? And really, “compensation?” I wouldn’t have accepted a dime from this man because you cannot put a price on someone’s safety and security.
