Shame on the people who disliked this and especially the person who made a cruel comment "he'll never find a girlfriend so what's the point". Whoever you are, you are very misguided. Tim is a wonderful human being who is driven and smart. Why wouldn't he find a girl just as special? Your superficial sense of being is a waste. You have a lot to learn from Tim. It's people like him who inspire others.
well, obviously it's someone who has never been around people with disabilities much, because a lot of them have girlfriends or boyfriends. This might be a bit too much information for prudish people, but they are very sexually active.

+zoe Hertlein More than you know. There are many who had never heard of Aspberger's until I told them. Honestly, they won't understand it properly unless they walk a mile in my shoes.
Wow, this is the most intelligent person with Down syndrome I have ever seen. Many people with the condition aren't able to speak fluently and articulate their thoughts like this. Along with having a great family, he's a pretty lucky guy!

I don't think I've seen a comment section of people so miserable. Here's probably the happiest dude in the world, has a family restaurant, AND he's an accomplished athlete, all while being handicapped. And still, some people have to make asinine comments. It's pretty disturbing how awful some people can be. But hey, I'm sure this guy has heard it all before. What I love about truly positive people: they know how to stay positive. Not like Tim has anything to prove with what he's accomplished anyway.

I live in Albuquerque and I had the privelege to eat over there and meet Tim, the food is excellent, and the service is amazing, Tim sat down with me and played drums on his cup and gave me a hug, He is truly an amazing person and an inspiration! :)

Its beautiful how people with disabilities like this believe in themselves, love every other being around them despite not getting the same back. And we, despite having everything, whine and bitch around about how our lives are fucked. This is the strange irony of human kind.
Tell you the truth I have autism and my dream is to have my own restaurant. My second dream is to have the most beautiful wife in the world and have wonderful lovely and humble kids.
Those two dreams can be accomplished if you set your mind to it :)

Working with a lot of people who have down syndrome, they're great people, they're smart people, they're happy people. You see past the syndrome and see them as an average day human being because they put their mind to anything and achieve it. This guy is an inspiration to me as well as it should be to anyone. He's a human that achieved his dream.
Give this kid a billion dollars wow how the world can look so much different in another persons eyes, he truly is one of the best humans on the planet
