To all you who say "I wish I could use 90 percent of my brain power", the average human brain can only withstand approximately 15 percent. Slade is technically a meta human so his brain can withstand more. If your brain draw more brain power, it will shut down completely and you will die of knowledge overflow. In other words, Slade is a badass.

Could be wrong, but I heard it that Green Arrow was originally going to be an alternate version of Batman but he became so unique they made him his own character.

He was in the US Army and they were doing experiments to create super soldiers, which they did on him. Not the extreme regeneration Deadpool has but he still regenerates.

They said that each character's ultimate move sums up the character in one move. The flash runs around the earth to punch you with as much force as possible, Superman sends you rocketing into the sky and flies up to knock you back down, showing the raw strength of superman. Batman fakes you out and takes you down methodically with martial arts techniques, and Grundy just brutally crushes you with whatever he has stuck on and inside him...and here we have Deathstroke. SWORDSGUNSBANGBANGBANGDIE!
A robin dieing can be done, a batgirl being hospitalized so a new one can come in as well. But if Ra's Al Ghul destroyed the world in canon, that'd kinda be hard to come back from.
He's come close multiple times though.
David Cain, a henchman of Ra's Al Ghul, could solo Joker's whole organization.

I'd say that the arena is Luthor's lair. After all, there is a warsuit being constructed in that lair that Deathstroke most likely won't be using.
Indeed, During the Infinite Crisis storyline, it took the combined efforts of Batman, Nightwing, and Robin (Tim Drake) to best him.

Deathstroke looks a like he could be injustice's answer to Deadpool from MvC3, a zoning character with a solid keep-away game, but very reliant on his specials to keep his foe and an arm's reach. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
You ever see the one where Batman painted himself, robin, their costume, the room, and everything in it yellow, green lantern came in and was powerless, he looked at green lantern smugly, then robin beat up green lantern. All cuz he was using kid soldiers (robins) in a risky business, it proved a point to green arrow but it was insanity. Also when he busted out laughing at the end of a violent book at joker. It was insanity laugh, batman is hilarious every once in a while.
There are many villains that do what Joker does.
Many people don't even know who Ra's Al Ghul is despite seeing Batman Begins.
When it comes down to it it's always swords and guns hand to hand just doesn't kill them fast enough
Well a fair few of those are in it. JLA - Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern. TT - Cyborg & Nightwing. And the villains you mentioned are all in.
Many villains do what Ra's Al Ghul does, but at least when Joker does something, he does it in a more memorable way.
Deathstroke is Slade but the teen titans was aimed at a much younger audience and the name deathstroke was thought to be a little too scary.
Same here, but the thing is in all the teen titan episodes i've watched, i don't remember slade(deathstroke) wielding a SINGLE gun. He's weilding at least three in this game.
So this originally made be believe that slade and deathstroke were different(until I read the DC wiki:).
It doesn't matter what character you choose, but how you play as them. You can win against anybody.

I believe that it's Deathstroke's. If you watch Deathstroke's reveal trailer, it ends with him at a computer in a very similar area.
I know. That's what I thought when I heard they were going to put Deathstroke in an Arkham game. In the comics, it's Deathstroke. In the games, it's Batman.
Joker has more popularity than any other villains but the fact is that Jason Todd living was actually put up for a vote. Fans voted him to live and the batgirl thing took little to no skill. I mean he was essentially crippling the daughter of the commissioner when she didn't have any idea he was coming over. Also Ra's has no interest in killing robins, they are his heirs students and one is his grandson. He takes interest in them but he has worldwide plans that fail cuz they would ruin dc
I meant he eludes him mentally, as in Batman isn't always one step ahead of Joker like he is with everyone else.

Ra's Al Ghul has single henchman that alone could forever cripple Joker's criminal life along with killing Joker.
It has happened before where Ra's Al Ghul's group was about to kill Joker but Batman always saves his life.
Ra's Al Ghul respects Batman but is a world wide threat, Joker is a block level threat, you pulled out his biggest deeds, Joker is usually being used by people like Hush and other villains.

He's actually known for fighting more than just the Teen Titans.

Erm... are you forgetting that Batman has been trained by assassins himself? He therefore is everything an assassin can be, except for a murderer, due to his personal code of conduct. You're also forgetting that he is the "World's Greatest Detective" i.e. beyond genius-level intellect and skills of deduction; highly trained in countless martial arts styles; possibly the fittest human being on the planet; a master of stealth; a billionaire... So yeah, he's much more than "a man in a suit."
c thats the thing. Batman couldn't defeat him on the spot, but he is the worlds greatest detective. He would simply brainstorm a plan and defeat him that way.
I find it confusing how when nerds say Batman can fight super powered guys like Superman or Darksied, finds a way to beat them but can't find an opening when fighting another martial arts guy like Deathstroke
And dont forget he beats the crap out of Enlongatedman, stabbing Flash with a sword, taking Zatanna out by hitting her liver, cutting Hawkman's wings, suffocating Balck Canary unconscious, and almost subduing Green Lantern in a battle of wills (and breaking GL fingers) before taking an arrow to the eye from Green Arrow, all of that in the same fight...what a beast!
I doubt anything would ever come close to the original comics, though the TV shows try to. Videogames would rank third behind the TV shows and naturally, the comics themselves.
It'll have a story mode, I'm sure. But you cannot have an adventure game with literally hundreds of characters, because then, the characters lose their value, because all they end up being then are talking props/accessories for the player's chosen character to interact with. At least with fighting games, each character has their own unique style.
Batman's stance looks like a slightly modified version of Scorpion's from the original 2D Mortal Kombat series.
Deathstroke was trying to assassinate an official, batman threw explosives and the official got away. Deathstroke saw it as a lost contract and escaped.
I wasn't the one who came up with Batman being able to beat Galactus. It's the fans worshiping Batman like he was a messiah who's always destined to win. But whenever someone brings up Deathstroke you guys think "they're both human, and evenly matched. Deathstroke can beat Batman because he's done it a few times".
I think it would be cool if when Wonder Woman was fighting Deathstroke, when he shoots at her with his guns, if she blocks it would be like her using her bracelets to deflect the bullets! :)
The creators of Deadpool really liked Deathstroke so they loosely based his character off of him. Hince the similarities in the names. Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Slade Wilson (Deathstroke).
I'm sorry, I didn't know that Joker killing a Robin, and handicapping Batgirl means that Batman can just run through Joker. Batman's more careful around Joker than anybody else, and can never really completely anticipate him. The same can't be said for Ra's Al Ghul.
He didn't because he didn't want to, trust me, i read the comics, Deathstroke is aware of what Batman does in Gotham, there is no reason for him to kill Batman, he outstands Batman in every aspect, not just hand to hand combat
I'm not talking about who won in the comics. I'm talking about fan's view of the character. When we're not talking about Deathstroke, it's a popular internet meme to say Batman beat anybody. Deathstroke isn't even in Frank Miller's Dark Knight universe and I know he sees Batman as a god of vengence. Explain how a man who can do anything, can do everything but beat Deathstroke. Because Deathstroke doesn't have that going for him.
I think what they should do since Red Hood will probably not be in the game is make an alternative Red Hood outfit for Deathstroke since they said that they will not have 2 characters with the same powers or abilities.
Finishers or should we say 'fatalities' are a concept of Mortal Kombat. It wouldn't really make sense to put it in a DC based game. Sure it's made by the same company as MK, but DC is its own universe. When they had MKvDC it made more sense to use fatalities, but it's not a concept DC wanted and they are using DC characters so they need DC's permission. It's like when people wanted MKvSF. Blood and gore is not a concept SF developers wanted for their characters, so they won't join SF with MK.
Deathstroke came first, deadpool is a parody of deathstroke, deadpools creator even admitted that.
yeah, personally i would have made his arms down with the cape covering most of his body, but i guess they wouldn't be able to do that due to difficulties rendering 2D objects in 3D plains
i can see deathstroke being a big huge spam character cause of all them guns his guns kinda also makes him a keep away person but he does have close combat fighting in him so who knows
Without Bat Man's training, the suit would be worthless. The suit doesn't do everything for hem, he uses it to his advantage.
I think if Netherrealm wanted to do what they are talking about doing with this game then you would have fought on that conveyor. This is going to feel like X-Ray moves I think, whenever someone gets knocked through something. And after the first time you're just going to want to skip it all whenever someone does it.
I guess that's something we can agree on I think after Green Arrow it was proven that the only who could outdo Batman is another Batman from a different Dc universe. But which Batman is the best?

Yeah, but from the gameplay I've seen getting in close rarely happens. One meter burn with that rifle into a grenade sends them back. Even up close I've seen that jump sword spin do raw beating without comboing. Judging by how many people activated his crosshair thing next to his meter I'd say he's easy to spam, masterful to actually play the way he was ment to.

I've seen people say this game will suck simply because it won't have fatalities(especially bloody ones). Considering the fatalities in MKvsDC were toned down because DC didn't want their characters being killed in a gory fashion, I don't understand what would even give these people the idea that they'd allow it in a DC exclusive game.
I guess some people care more about blood and guts than gameplay.

No one can be Joker. Let's put it this way, no one saw it coming when Joker killed Robin and crippled Batgirl. Ra's Al Ghul is the stereotypical villain who wants to destroy the world and never succeeds. No matter how close he got Batman was always one step ahead and always stops Ra's. Batman doesn't always stop Joker.
Deathstroke beat Batman on several occasions, not to mention held his own against the entire JLA. He beat up on Zatanna, Flash, Hawkman, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Kyle Rayner, Green Lantern, & The Ray all at the same time. Not once has Batman alone beat Deathstroke. He's always needed help.
Joker doesn't elude batman, the joker goes to arkham all the fucking time but bust out, the only reason why hes still a menace is because batman won't kill him.

around 0:21 sec, on the screen closest to the upper left hand side, there is a picture of kryptonite and words underneath it saying "not found, searching." do you guys think that superman has something to do with that? and if so, who's cave is this? doesn't seem like batman's...
This is what I don't like in comic debates
All dc characters have different skills in each comic
some comics: Superman is a superstrong, flying, superfast and has laser vision
other comics: Superman has unbelievable strength (he can move planets), faster than the speed of light, powerful laser vision, can survive a supernova and CAN READ YOUR SOUL
If one character is a LOT stronger than the other, then they will make the other stronger so he can defeat him

I think the whole blood & guts concept of MK is what made the FGC or most of them not respect MK. MK9 was a good fighting game, but still fell short because of pass disrespect for its mechanics and concept. Maybe this game will shed light onto MK9 as well for non-MK fans. I for one am just happy to see a modern-day DC fighting game since that snes DC fighting game back in the days. Fatalities never once crossed my mind when I first heard of this.
I love how deathstroke is faster than the flash in this game.
Hmm being a huge Batman fan I do kind of think that stance is a little wierd, but I think the New 52 outfit will make up for it.

I personally think if they're gonna have people like harley and joker in this game they should make more slots so that real powered heroes and villains are playable. Joker and harley just don't seem like they'd be fun. Harley seemed ok until deathstroke came. She uses guns, he uses bigger guns and a sword

The final battle will probably be between Superman and Batman. I just can't see Deathstroke as the best fighter. He's known for nothing more than being a villian who challeneges teenagers. I'd say the same thing about the Shredder.

I have a feeling Deathstroke is gonna be super over powered...All he has to do is shoot you from far away.
When i played the demo my character would automatically taunt when i took away half the enemy's health away.
I never said I hate his costume,I just do not like the way he is standing that's all. Its not the way batman would stand at all.
yeah that was the first fighting game( atleast I think so) That had multiply stages in on map and the background could be used against the foe. I remembered one map on 4 had endless stairs and the game is a 3D fighting game like the first DBZ games and if you were good enough you could just keep tripping someone down the stairs to like 7 different areas.

personally i think they are evenly matched it wits, skill, gadgets, the like.
