I would say 95% of Tim's workers in Western Canada are foreign workers. Yes you can open up the constitution and 100% the CND senate needs massive reform. Senate needs to be elected by province/territory say 5/ea and max term of 5 yrs where senate elections by province happens on alternate year of federal elections. Appointment by the PM is undemocratic and should be done away with. When conservatives take power with a majority they need to make it happen.

CN and CP have been abusing crews for a long time because they have no accountability. Now they propose something that will give them more crew availability and a better work/life balance. You can’t have both. If I’m available more, then I’m home less(or sitting on the couch waiting for the phone to ring cause the lineups are garbage).

And the quality of the product in the businesses that have done this have all gone down in quality. It’s a hit and miss game now. One location is good but the next is terrible. Franchises are not following requirements, if that is even still a thing. Consumers will eventually learn by process of eliminating the bad locations and the well run franchises. Greed will catch up to them, always does.
