- Alexander Fleming was a Scottish doctor and microbiologist who discovered the world’s first effective antibiotic: penicillin. This discovery revolutionized medicine, and has been described as the single greatest victory ever achieved over disease. It’s estimated that well over 200 million people have had their lives saved by penicillin, and it continues to be an effective medicine used all around the world to this day.
In this video we’re going to tell the story of Alexander Fleming’s life. Examine how he discovered penicillin, how it transformed medicine, and how Fleming’s discovery ushered in a new age of civilisation. Referring to my reaction regarding your CZcams video of Da Vinci, please dive into the world of Christiaan Huygens. In English speaking countries Huygens is not very known , probably because of his relation with Newton. Huygens and Newton were quarreling about the essence of light. Huygens developed the wave length theory of light, while Newtons view on light was based on dualism. Huygens proved to be right.
Huygens was not only an inventor (a.o. the pendulum, steam machine etc), but also wrote the first science fiction stories, was instrumental for the development of the present chip industry, the development of MRI and rontgen machine and echoscopie etc, etc.
The reason why The Netherlands is still one of the world leaders in the afore mentioned industries is because Huygens view and theory on wave length is still considered fundamental for basic research of physics in The Netherlands.

This is a mythological narrative. The research workers in the laboratories where Fleming was the Professor at the time recognised the significance of what was happening on the petri dish that was later produced in sufficient quantity as a drug. Fleming was well know in social circles for the treatment of Syphilis at the time and took the credit for this discovery.
Similarly l believe a lot of things attributed to Leonardo were redrawn from a notebook left by a Chinese delegation to Italy. Again how the notebook came into his hands or whether it was taken and not returned or presented to the ltalians or Chuch at that time is not clear. However, increasingly fictitious narrative seems to be just part of our desire to create a good story as we forget the facts.

Same for swam/swum (a very rare conjugation) and for many others. For the record, that is a common mistake. Often the "has" can be contracted. (It's begun=it has begun), but I believe I can say "begun" is never used without "has".
The intro is so horrible with loud intrusive music that we were tempted to stop viewing! Did an adult review this video prior to release? Best of luck!
